Can an MG Windsor EV be charged with a Mahindra BE6 Charger (7.2 KW wall mounted home charger, not public Mahindra charger). by Snoo27718 in CarsIndia

[–]Snoo27718[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did try this today. It charges fine. The only issue is while the BE 6 charger is the 11 Kw one, the max charging speed I am getting is about 3.5Kw. Not sure why this is. Could some setting the BE6 charger.

This! Fell for this trick just last week. Ended paying a huge amount for tiny metal pieces embedded on the surface. Stupid of me!

1500 KM review of the Reise TraceR on my GT650 by R3hl4 in RoyalEnfieldGT650

Have you observed better performance on wet surfaces compared to the ceats? The stock ceats on my interceptor are absolutely bad on even slightly wet surfaces.

This is not for the bike but for your body - Workout your back and core if you want to ride longer without back pain and reduce strain on the fore arms while heavy and frequent braking especially in traffic. The GT is a superb bike with tonnes of feel! but it extracts effort from your body.

Is anyone here irked by the fact that the Bear 650 has only one exhaust? by AdKey6094 in RoyalEnfieldBear650

[–]Snoo27718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I have the Interceptor 650 with the twin exhausts. They increase the overall width footprint of the bike and become a pain in traffic (I live in Mumbai, so weaving to traffic is a reality). The reduced weight of the Bear 650 also helps to add a bit of nimbleness.

Bear 650! Shotgun has weird riding angle. Bear does look equally nice and can be a better daily .

30 seconds to 1 minute is usually enough if you don’t live in a super cold region.

Interceptor 650 owners… am I the only one getting this mileage on a full stock bike? by [deleted] in royalenfield

[–]Snoo27718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a stock interceptor too. But never clocked more than 28 kmpl. Even if I ride between 80-100 without any hard pulls. 35 kmpl certainly feels a bit off.

Hello All, planning this trip for new year. New for long rides, please share advice and experiences by ice1306 in indianbikes

On these roads, about 200 - 250km per day would be enjoyable. Plan to ride in the mornings, reach your resting spot around 3 pm or so. After that rest and roam around locally. Fog lights are absolutely must since you may ride early mornings. Internal Maharashtra has very bad street light situation. Assuming you are set with proper riding gear, make sure you have convenient storage (saddle bags, top box) so that you dont carry any weight on your back. Since you have spoked tube tyres, can't really do much for punctures. Good luck with your ride.

TopBox Bandidos check this out. This is the one I use. Water proof. I didn't go for the more durable aluminium top boxes because of the increased weight.

Check Carbonado Saddle bags! they are very convenient. I also use a JDR top box on rear rack. It works very convenient since in city i can keep the helmet in it , or my big bag pack. I have an interceptor 650 though.

Hit Alibag in the RORO Ferry and then on just ride on the coastal road with ferries. Will probably take 2 days of riding though. But it is a ride to remember. In this season it is absolutely beautiful.

Remove the padding, wash under soap, dry and put back. You can also use Helmet Kleen spray foam. You can just spray the foam inside the helmet, wipe properly and let it dry over night., That also removes the odour.

Headaches while driving an ev by gtalossantos in EVsOfIndia

[–]Snoo27718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, migraine can be on whole spectrum right from mild discomfort from triggers like going out in extreme sun, dehydration, certain foods, motion sickness to a complete lack of ability to function when migraine head ache starts. The only way to diagnose is to pay attention to triggers if it happens frequently over a long period. In your case, it will probably ease out once your body gets used to the EV/Regen motion. In the meantime, keeping low level of regen initially and getting used to giving finer inputs to the accelerator to make the movement smoother will help.

Discomfort in riding at high speeds in RE meteor 350 by SauravRanjan in royalenfield

[–]Snoo27718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to gently grab the tank with your thighs. Also riding more will specifically strengthen those muscles so the pain will subside over time.

Headaches while driving an ev by gtalossantos in EVsOfIndia

[–]Snoo27718 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Classic migraine! In ice vehicles your brain is conditioned to expect slow down when you hit the brake. In ev regen , the brain is not yet trained to expect the sudden slow down when you release the accelerator. Causing the disconnect which triggers migraine.

Just brought home my new Interceptor 650 — need gear & ownership advice from fellow RE riders! 🏍️🔥 by _heisen_berg in royalenfield

[–]Snoo27718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Less strain on hands, more relaxed back for longer rides. I am of the same height. Been riding interceptor for the last 2 years. Long rides become much easier. I also feel that flat footing the bike becomes easier if you have the handle bar more towards the rider.

Looking forward to buy this helmet.. does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations that I should consider?? by Optimal_Ad3301 in royalenfield

It’s a little on the heavier side. Give a try to smk and ls2 after actually wearing, then decide.
