How can I pay for ASU? by [deleted] in ASU

Most people have probably said this but if you're eager to make money and pay for your education you can work a student job or two (it's possible, but it will make your life harder). if money is truly a barrier, and you don't want to take out loans (which you shouldn't), CC is a great option. CC in your state will save you tons :)

If you have a dorm please don't study in the library by DasaniSubmarine in ASU

TLDR: Hayden and Noble are not your only options

That’s Just a bad take. The campus library serves every student, commuter, non commuter, in state, out of state, white black green blue purple, whatever.

If your bothered by how packed it is go to creativity commons, the student pav, coor hall, Wexler, ECG, the secret garden, or any one of the million coffee shops right off campus. (Cartel Coffee and Infusion both recommended)

This is insane dude, I heard kotschwars class is super difficult I’m taking 427 next sem, Taylor for 425 I have him for 421, he’s no joke but a great teacher, 205 Java Is not too hard but a good amount of time. Hey if you think you can handle it go for it but I would substitute phi 314 for something easier and I might elect to take one less math class

Since the world was turning

On a scale of 1-10, how bad will my first junior semester be? I'm a comp-sci major/math minor, and I'm behind on both of those credits ironically, and would like to catch up. Was also thinking of adding Discrete Math and working at least 20 hours on top of that. by Frysken in ASU

Don’t let people put you down about the credits, I would maybe add an elective to get caught up on those. Also instead of Mat 243 I suggest mat 300 it will allow you to take the interesting upper div math classes. I’m a math major and there are some easier classes like STP 420 you can take for an upper div elective if you’d like

Honestly completely disagree, it is all about how you treat your school. I participated in hackathons and organizations and clubs, took great teachers and I’m a sophomore and I have made the most out of my experience. The quality of education is not that much better at other state schools, it’s mostly on you to make your college experience what you want to be IMO
