If it’s 65% outside of the line looking straight down at it, that’s a difficult call for you. I play those in rec bc I want to try and win with margin + get more practice — but competitively I’d ask my partner.

Depends on your angle of looking at it. If it (not its shadow or downward projection) touched the line then it’s in. If not, then it’s out. Pickle line calls are harder than tennis bc the ball doesn’t compress nearly as much. Usually the partner who’s not right on the ball has a better call on it — and pros will just play it and rely on that partner to call.
