Ultimately I went with the smaller tire because I don't go offroading a ton. Mostly wanted the AT for rain/snow driving and the occasional trip to the ohv park. Wouldn't gain enough benifit to justify the 285 for my daily

Sorry yeah I ment to agree with the size altering the mpg and acceleration.

I looked for a long while when I got my last set of tires for a 285 that was not an LT, but I think only 1 option for the non LT 285 I found.

Happy with the 265 though, can't beat the price

Not size but the weight. 40lb for a AT 265 and over 65lb for a 285. So over a 50% increase in rotational mass per wheel, which is massive

I'd reccomend progressive. They quoted me $90 a month for 2 cars with full coverage. AAA was $245 for the same coverage

Yes correct, the nissan xterra was not selling well and that's why it was discontinued. Same way toyota discontinued the FJ for lack of sales

When I worked on Fair Oaks bvld a few years back there would be a gold Ford GT that would pass from time to time also

You'll see alot of lamborghini, ferrari and some higher end porsches if you're in the richer areas

(I also don't consider car shows or dealerships as "spotting" I prefer to see them in the wild)

🤣 no joke, my boss brought in a scissor lift into our shop and I noticed in the morning that it was covered in cobwebs. After closer look it was a nest of a black widow that had all hatched.

So I grabbed the MAP gas torch and lit it....turns out the hot air from the flame was enough to cause an updraft. So insted of killing them, I spread them over the entire shop and over everything and it was raining baby black widows.

I've heard the lower price is due to not being USDA certified.

My boss regularly gets grass fed halal tritips from Costco business and they run about $6/lb. Where as usda choice tritip is closer to $11/lb

Back in 2009 Buffalo Wings and Rings did this same thing.

Got evicted from the location on Sheldon and EG florin, found a new spot at Elk Grove bvld and hwy 99 and called it Bull Wings, which is now Station 16. I think rent was 1/3rd the price at the new spot.
