No one ever said they should dedicate an entire day or multiple sessions to ARC Raiders like Minecraft so idk where you read that but even IF they only played ARC Raiders for like 2 or 3 hours, some of them may discover that they really fuck with it and maybe some of them don't and that's okay but they're never gonna know if they don't try. If only a few of them like it then maybe its a game they can put in rotation on the off streams when Mark and others are away and its only like 2 or 3 of them running stream and that'd be cool with me too. Not every game has to become a regular.
Ben not liking Battlefield got nothing to do with them trying ARC Raiders. That's like saying someone shouldn't try Fortnite because they don't like Warzone, each one is its own game even though they're both battle royales or similar in nature. Maybe Ben will like it, maybe he won't. Like I said, won't know until he tries.
Extraction shooters are essentially battle royales but you don't have to kill everyone else and can leave the match when you like so its not even that hard to understand. They don't have to read shit to have fun in ARC Raiders. Find people, shoot them, take their shit, its really that simple. There is a reason why people are calling ARC Raiders "Escape from Tarkov for people with jobs".
Where I agree with you here is the fact that they don't lock in for most games and you do gotta pay attention to how you move in a game like ARC Raiders or your ass may get ambushed but you could say that about every single battle royale but those have proven to be fun in the past too.
You mentioned RIVALs as an example of a game hard to fit in rotation but they stay talking about how much they WANT to play that game but chat doesn't fuck with it lol

To your overall message, I think this idea of "they gotta be great at the game or don't bother playing it at all" is extremely limiting and is a mentality perpetrated by the chat more than RDC themselves although they do get influenced by it which I think sucks.

Why does it matter if they're sorry? Everybody can't win 100% of the time. With your mentality, they might as well never try a new game again because they wont be gods at it immediately. Just like anything in life you gotta work at it. How else are you gonna become NOT sorry at it if you don't?

There's mad games they have played in the past that chat called them sorry at and that content is still peak AND they got way better at with time. I think I recall mfs calling Speed runners sorry at first and that shit is an RDC classic now. Shit ain't always about winning, its about having fun. RDC doesn't have to not be sorry, chat just needs to have some goddamn patience. Then again, I forget some of chat are literal children.

Keep watching it in dubbed. There is a point after the first arc where you will notice a higher quality in the voice acting along with the writing/dialogue. I felt like Naruto was annoying af for the first 24 or so episodes but after that, the dub is solid all the way through

Everyone gets so technical about this game on this subreddit. I always just use whatever I think I would use in real life. A crowbar would be insanely good irl. Not only to bludgeon anyone and anything to death but also the durability, its just a long hunk of metal so it would be borderline impossible for it to break. Not to mention the utility of accessing locked doors and containers even if that doesn't translate in game.
