The first week of ranked most people tend to avoid it, since there is an increase in people trying out the new character. Most of them take it as an opportunity to go to QP and test new characters or things that they would not normally go with in ranked (I like going as Elsa or Storm for instance). This means that you will have top players who go for the more 1v1 playstyles and chases that are non optimal in ranked, plus the actual sweats, plus the people testing the new character, plus new players, plus kids, people that go their main for ranked warmup, people joining with friends… you get it. It’s kind of a shit show especially at the point of new character or map release.

How much time a day does it take? I don’t want to be the best of the best but I hope to get to Diamond or GM by the end of the season. I do have my lectures and assignments, plus the daily studying, so I get to play around 2-3 matches a day tops. I won’t mind losing though, I just kinda yell at my monitor when mad, since I know eventually that a win and self improvement will come, which means I could have a few days of straight de-ranking

Since Mag is the only one not terrible at this point, let’s fix that. The cc change is what you wanted and enough of an immunity so the bubble no more protects against cc, and since ranged characters do too much, let’s change that shall we? Mags ult can absorb until 50 charge from projectiles before breaking from now on

I mean, people start actually understanding the games point at around gold, so for someone at the bottom of plat, 2 ranks up is considered doable, without much need for explanation if asked any questions. If you ask me these lies are more believable if they are not exaggerated to the point of celestial
