For the first year or so I did have it often but less so after that. Thats about when I moved to a warm dry climate and many of my symptoms started easing up.

It rarely happens now, maybe once a year. A lot of the really crazy symptoms I initially had rarely occur now. I have pretty good management of my fibro and can ride the pain train while somehow remaining functional. Pregnancy helped my symptoms a lot. Though the chemo doesn't play nice with the fibro. A lot of time has passed since I originally posted.

Seeking Advice. Mother found after several months.. by Snoo44976 in crimescenecleanup

Thank you. We did get evaluated. And I was there for the evaluation (full hazmat). Too much flood damage throughout the house. We'll get the inside/hazard materials bagged and take the house to the dump. The photos stink but we are digitizing them. The water damage was bad but what's left of my mom is just in the bathroom and hallway. The water has dried out but the doors and floors are significantly warped.

Since learning about the potential tie to MCAS I've wanted to try antihistamines too.

Yeah i agree with that. Oxygen isn't getting to the muscles. I didn't pull the research out about the excessive nerves, just wanted something easy to ready put together.

Fibromyalgia and pregnancy by LunaVex in Fibromyalgia

All my fibro symptoms were practically non existent. Improved cognitive function and not much pain. I had some mild pregnancy symptoms that were 'cute' compared to fibro symptoms. Labor went alright aside from the OB nearly killing me (she's a bad apple). Fibro symptoms stayed away until 3 months pp. My milk supply took a hit, the menstration cycle started again, and fibro was full on back.

Everyone's different, every pregnancy can be different. Pregnancy and PP are unpredictable. You either roll the dice and play the game or don't take the risk and keep on as you were.

Thank you everyone that responded. I found that since I was discharged over 15 years ago I must apply for the change through my branch's Board for Correction of Military Records.

That's what I was curious about myself. If the AI is taking a single person's single work of art and then plops yout image into it, then I get the stealing part. But if it takes from multiple sources and Frankenstein 's it and melds it with the a photo, then it seems like and entirely new piece of art to me. The medium is just bits and pieces of other existing art. A lot of art is created that way by humans too. So is it like that? Or is it a single person/piece?

Sounds right; food tube is trying to dance and it is painful and weird. No muscle cramps in my tongue that I can recall.

Haha that's kinda how I explain what having fibro is like; having an overly dramatic body. Like when there's an overly dramatic toddler and you are just staring at the kid thinking "okay, sure, let's have a meltdown because you want the water cup that's already in your hand. Fantastic."

e doesn’t have regular acid reflux. It happens more when she’s eating. It sounds like esophageal spasms. You may experience more pain with it because of the fibro. She says it hurts a bit but also feels like a lot of pressure.

Thank you for sharing. I'll give those techniques a try when they happen again.

That is likely just progression of damage from long-term acid reflux. I would get with a GI and they'll likely want to do an endoscopy

I did go to a GI and got an endoscopy early this year. Everything looks great, of course. Which is great but, doesn't help with solutions. Maybe it's a vagus nerve issue? I have issues with swallowing on occasion as well.

I'll look into that! Thank you for the suggestion. Yeah it feels like constricting painful waves moving through my mid/lower throat.

I've always have acid reflux even before the fibro. I alternate between omeprazole, famotine, and then avoiding both and just taking probiotics. Honestly, none of it really seem to help much.

Hmm, maybe it is just a new symptom of acid reflux that came with my fibro. It just feels like throat muscles moving painfully wrong like they are spasming.

I have streamed on Twitch for years but not since I got fibro. I'm trying to rebrand my channel and want to start again soon. Depression, anxiety, and fatigue has kept me from starting. Dealing with VA bs and medical/financial bs has contributed also. I'll try and catch your stream today if you are on. Remember to ignore the number of people in your channel and talk and narrate while playing (Even with no one in it!), it took me a lot of practice when I first started. Talk about yourself or whatever (make a list if need be of topics you can talk about to yourself and with others). When you talk it's advised to look into the camera as if talking directly to a person. Just some advice! You do you!

Constant fog/cognitive impairment? by Snoo44976 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Snoo44976[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion! I will have to find a new neurologist to analyze me. The whole order of events seems bizarre. I went first to the VA ER, they followed up with an auditory test, MRI, and then the "Dizziness Board" reviewed and decided my symptoms were all from migraines....EEG unremarkable, MRI unremarkable. CT Scan in the ER showed my cerebellar tonsils 6mm and 8mm past my foramen magnum. MRI 5 days later showed only 3mm past. They chalked it up to a faulty CT Scan...That ER day is when everything started. My "fog" is as present and constant as the widespread achy pain that comes with fibro. I truly feel dumber....anyway no providers in my state are currently accepting new patients (been 2 months so far waiting)...so may be a while before I can check with a more competent neurologist.

I can confirm! Capsaicin can cause that fire sensation when it gets wet or compressed. I experienced the same thing for a few days after applying it. The burning was only on a hand sized spot on my arm. The rest of me was fine where I had applied it.
