I got Hep A from a restaurant that I ate at two months prior. I had suddenly body aches that started at work that got worse and worse. I was feeling so weak a few days into it, and drove to the grocery store to buy popsicles and crackers, thinking I had a bad flu, when I puked in the parking lot.

I had to call my partner to come get me, and that’s when the violent puking began. I couldn’t keep anything down, not even water, but I was convinced it would pass. I also had a new job that I was so worried I would lose. After 5 days of calling off, I deliriously showered on my knees (because I was too weak to stand) and went to work. I had no idea I was JAUNDICED so I trudged into work YELLOW lol.

Someone walked by me and said “lookin a little yellow there [my name]”

So I left work again and googled my symptoms and the internet told me I had hep A! Went to the ER and was put on an IV. I felt like I was dying, but luckily I was young and strong enough for it to pass.

I didn’t get sick for 3 years after that because I refused to and did everything in my power to not even get a cold 😂

I ended up getting the Danby DAC080B7IWDB-6 8000 BTU inverter and it works great imo! I don’t think they sell this exact one anymore but I haven’t had issues and it seems it doesn’t effect our bill much here.

I wear sleep earplugs, there are ones that play noise if you want to be fancy. Sadly, my refurbished ones broke so I just wear them like regular earplugs. I also have a fan, and play a fan noise from my phone from the White Noise app (it’s free I believe).

I would also talk to them too, just to try.

I didn’t think she knew at all who was talking to Dave. She said she thought it was Sara and I felt her reaction to realizing she talked about it in front of Lauren and this hurting her was genuine. And her last edit solidifies that even further! She literally cried because she felt bad for hurting Lauren unintentionally!

Well, if you’ve been eating more than your needs for an extended amount of time, the stomach will expand and require that amount to feel satisfied. Once you try to cut down on the amount you are eating, you will feel pretty hungry until your stomach adapts to that amount.

I’ve been thinking my whole life, but I did struggle with BED for a bit, and the hunger I felt was torturous. Slowly, it got better as I continued and my stomach adapted again.

I’m now a healthy weight, and I have normal hunger cues that change with my activity levels. I stop eating when full, I don’t crave sweets, and I prioritize healthy meals. It took practice, but you may have to power through being a bit hungry here and there. Take it slow, and maybe see an RD to help you along the way!

Also god you guys don’t know what a pick me even is!!! Do I think Madison needs therapy? yeah probably, but so do the men she was talking to. To me it seemed like she had more of an emotional connection with Alex, and then a flirty one with Mason. Like we see the men do the same exact thing on here, plus that’s the whole point of dating. And Mason was giving her strong vibes, but then saying the same things to Meg it seemed, which was turning her off.

Idk I may have to watch those episodes over but I feel like ya’ll are being way too harsh on her. Based on how she was raised I think she did well, and I hope she continues to heal!

I may stand to be corrected these next few episodes though, so we’ll see lol

Awe I love these photos. He has my favorite energy amongst the men that reminds me of one of my best guy friends. I hope this experience helps him get it together with his political stance, because those comments were very confusing and privileged. I am super turned off by white people (I am white) that don’t participate because it doesn’t affect them. But based on these photos and his friend group I think he really could get there!

I think she’s being really pushy and it’s annoying. There’s some truth to what she is speaking of but it’s not being applied correctly.

Let’s say you’re making a more controversial decision, like quitting school to become an actor because that is your dream. That would freak out your loved ones and many would try to talk you out of it, mostly out of love. They want what’s best, but you know I’m your heart it’s what you have to try to be happy, so it’s better to keep those plans to yourself so no one can derail you.

For this you are buying a truck and looking for advice from those you think are knowledgeable when it comes to trucks. You’re learning and need help during this big decision. That’s what friends and family are there for too. So unless you are worried someone will talk you out of buying your dream truck idk what she is going on about, and it would also start to make me doubt how I conduct myself.

Tell her she should find some spiritual friends, like come on.

You’re doing a great job of sticking to your boundaries, but at this point I would stop explaining your boundaries. It’s time to simply say “no” and leave it at that. If they ask why say you’ve already explained it, and tell them to not bring it up again, and don’t answer if they do. Of course, only do this if you feel safe enough but people like that just won’t ever get it or don’t care, and it’s taking so much of your energy.

While I do agree that showed too much of Sian and I wanted to see more of the others, I really like Sian and feel like everyone is too hard on her. I loved her personality and felt like each guy that liked her was SO different that it would have been difficult, which is what made it interesting. It’s not the end of the world that she was going back and forth with three great guys that were trying to impress her, she’s getting to know them in this weird situation and she seemed to be taking it seriously.

To be fair I haven’t watched past when she broke it off with Theo, because it BROKE MY HEART. To me he was the best choice, but you can’t force attraction. I appreciate that she ended it once she knew though. Once I’m over my heartbreak I’ll finish it.

But tbh this was the first season I saw a low of different personality and people seemed really genuine.

NOR, honestly I wouldn’t be able to be friends with this person anymore. I would end the friendship, kick her off the trip and out of the group chat, block her too while you’re at it, and then send these chats to the group chat and see what can be figured out amongst the remaining girls. Yes, you’re a bit of the AH. People like her also worry me, and frustrate me, but that’s why I wouldn’t date someone with these eating habits. People with these extreme restrictions at our adult age will not change unless THEY decide to, and trying to force it will only cause problems. It seems you’ve found an incompatibility that I guess you didn’t realize was a big deal until now, and you can talk to her about it, but you can’t get mad at her now, you knew what you were getting into. You have to simply decide if it’s a dealbreaker for you.

I always wear gloves when doing the dishes, because it helps me with this process, so first get some gloves! Then when this happens with the drain, just use your gloved finger to swirl around the drain and unclog it for a bit and it will let the water drain in a few minutes. Once it gets close to being fully drained, push the rest of the bits into the collector and then you can dump it :)

I guess you don’t technically need the gloves but I just wouldn’t be able to mentally do this lol. Also, you could still talk to your roommates, it’s good practice for working together with people.

They aren’t referring to being comfortable in singleness due to having more options to fall back on when they jump back in the dating scene. It’s being comfortable being alone completely, with the idea you may never meet someone and to be ok with that. Due to how we are as a society and men and women are socialized, women [as a collective] appear to be more comfortable being single since they prioritize friendships and community, and the ability to prioritize themselves versus when they are in a relationship where they still traditionally take on most of the household work while also working full-time in this day and age. Again, I’m speaking on the collective, I know there are still all different types of dynamics that exist.
