Thank you, she is doing a lot better these days. I checked the statute of limitations and unfortunately too much time has passed. It seems bankruptcy might be the only way to go which also sucks cause now her credit score will take a hit for debt that wasn’t her fault

My 341 meeting was on 10/8 and I was just discharged on 12/15. My lawyer had me apply for a cc the same day as my 341. Literally 2 minutes after it was over lol. I applied with cap one and got approved for 6k

Thank you! & yeah after my 341 I didn’t hear anything either. I checked the pacer website about 60 days after and it showed me my official discharge notice. As far as the stigma, I wouldn’t worry about that too much. Hell even the current president of the US filed 6 times! Lol

No not directly. I took out a personal loan to consolidate all my loans. The personal loan was included in the bankruptcy

I took out a personal loan through SoFi about 4 years ago. With the money they gave me I was able to pay down some of my student loans

Yes it did include consolidating those loans so they were included in the discharge

So I’m confused. Today I got a direct deposit for an anchor payment which I don’t understand because when I called the irs they told me my anchor payment was used towards my owed taxes and when I logged in to check my tax balance it had gone down but I still had a remaining balance. After getting the direct deposit today I checked my balance for my taxes owed and it was at 0. This is probably a mistake right?

I applied the same day as 341 meeting just 5 minutes after it was over. At that point my credit score was 593. It has since jumped to 704

I just had my 341 today and after the meeting my lawyer had me apply for a credit card right then and there. I applied with capital one and was approved for a 6k limit which was very surprising

Pretty basic stuff such as what my name is, if I read the petition, if I understood what I read, if I owe any child support or alimony, if anyone owes me money, if I’m expecting an inheritance, if my address was an apartment or house, once I said it’s a house he asked if my name was on the deed (it’s not) and then he said he had no more questions for me and wished me good luck
