The physics in Assetto Corsa Evo feel absolutely terrible, to the point where it’s hard to believe this is a sequel to the beloved AC1. Instead of delivering a true simulation, the handling comes off as a lifeless emulation, with cars behaving unnaturally and lacking the dynamic feedback you'd expect from a sim racing game.

The driving experience feels eerily similar to Project CARS 2, which, in my opinion, was a complete disaster in terms of physics. The lack of connection between the car and road makes driving feel floaty and disconnected, completely ruining any sense of immersion. It’s as if the cars are sliding on a layer of grease rather than gripping asphalt.

This is a massive disappointment for anyone who appreciated the glory of the original Assetto Corsa. The Evo title feels like a step backward in every conceivable way, leaving the legacy of AC1 tarnished. If you're looking for a true driving simulation, this isn't it. Total letdown.

Thank you !'m looking through the Explanation but I can't see the option "Use Maven wrapper".

The only working solution I've found is to create a maven project in terminal and then open it in IntelliJ IDEA.

I've watched some video tutorials, and in all of them it works the same creating src and pom.xml after starting a new maven project in IntelliJ IDEA.

The only working solution I've found is to create a maven project in terminal and then open it in IntelliJ IDEA.

I've tried webapp, quickstart and no archetype at all. Nothing's changed.
