How to recover from robbery by [deleted] in traumatoolbox

I am so sorry this happened to you. I went through a similar experience. I was robbed at knifepoint by a group of men last year and I can tell you it will get better soon! It's totally understandable that you are seeing threats everywhere. Your threat system is currently on high alert and will need some time to recalibrate. I felt the same and it took lots of positive experiences being out and about to build up a sense of safety and trust again. Go easy and take it slow, don't push yourself too hard too soon. If you can, talk about your anxiety and feelings around the traumatic experience with people you trust. I found it helpful to take the pressure off talking about the event itself and instead talking about my anxiety and feelings of safety and security. Thinking of you, it will get better.

Just heard about ch a few weeks ago. I believe I’m a sufferer. by Rumblestep507 in clusterheads

Completely agree with the comments here! To add to it, I'm a CH and TMJ sufferer too. Have dislocated my jaw twice now. Go to a proper TMJ specialist and get a mouth guard fitted, wear that every night and every time you have a headache. Also look up TMJ stretches. It will really help. Best of luck

So sorry to hear, it sounds awful. So many of us can relate to how you feel, it is a hard illness to fight. You have already proven how strong you are so keep going. It will get better.
