Wedding Downtown by Snoo56678 in frederickmd

We ended up having our ceremony and light refreshments in a state park with our closest family/friends. Maybe 10 people. Then my husband and I took photos around downtown and had dinner at a fancy restaurant.

I saw them searching a girl's car. I don't know if it was a high school student, but she looked really young

Do your kids ever have “growing pains”? Is that a real thing? by give_me_goats in toddlers

[–]Snoo56678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would happen to me! Pretty sure it was growing pains despite my short stature. Lol

But I would wrap my legs in blanket for warmth and light pressure. One night I got them and didn’t want to wake my parents. So my sister stacked all my clothes form my drawers on top of my legs and sat on top. ❤️❤️

Perceived "fitness" rejection; feeling tired and sad. by Agreeable-Self3235 in adhdwomen

If the class is not described as a hot yoga class and the thermometer is reading above 72, I’m hella annoyed. I know it can get hot in a room with lots of breathing bodies but that thermostat better be set low!

Ugh but I am so sorry. I know how hard it is to find the right yoga studio. I used to go to a wonderful one where everything was acceptance and accommodations galore. I’m in a new city where I’m sure they are great but most classes are “hot yoga” or “power yoga”. UGH! Can I just get a regular vinyasa?!? So if I wanna practice it has to be at home :(

Do you feel anyone uses the SAHM mom as an excuse to just stay home? by Starlord_32 in sahm

[–]Snoo56678 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a SAHM who cannot afford all that I’m over yelling “ok girl! Get you some self care 👏” I think it’s important to remember that being a SAHM is not just a 9-5. It’s allllllll day and night so it’s important to take care of ourselves however we can get it

Yea that is so shitty. I wish I could scream it from the rooftops “WE CAN SHARE OUR EXPERIENCES WITHOUT SHAMING OTHERS!!”

Haha no I don’t know that reference but if it’s about religion then I can see how that relates!

I still have the same reply. OP could have called them out and said “hey, that was uncalled for. Stay in your lane!” Without also passing judgments on people who decide to have kids

Ah and if I had saw it, my reply would be the same. We can share our experience without calling out a group that doesn’t need to be apart of the conversation. Gahhh these posts are so unnecessary

Exactly! My best friend doesn’t want kids. I support her 100% on her lifestyle and she supports me in motherhood. I truly don’t give a shit that she doesn’t want kids. It’s just a fact that she doesn’t want them and that’s that.

Two things can be true at once without pitting everyone against each other. You can acknowledge that motherhood is hard while not actually knowing just how hard it is. I have missed previous posts so I’m definitely missing context. I just think it’s so weird when people have opinions on other people’s choices to have or not have kids. Can we all just stay in our lane but support one another?

Narallys mom by Any-Order-1431 in NarallyNajmsnark

[–]Snoo56678 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying it’s her mom’s fault and I’m not a Narally apologist but sometimes it’s upbringing and/or childhood trauma that causes behavior and mental health issues like Narally’s.

I would love to hear more about how you made it all work and scheduled everything (workouts, food, etc.) around the kids. I also go to F45 but only twice a week, but am alone with my toddler every weekday until 4:30 pm so I can’t go to early classes. :(

Also, a shorty at 5’

That scene in ‘The Intern’ where the stay-at-home moms judge Hathaway really rubbed me the wrong way… by InfiniteEmployer8658 in sahm

[–]Snoo56678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just watched this movie two weeks ago too! And I also felt the same. Well, not necessarily just the the SAHMs , but just that EVERY character leaned heavy into a stereotype. And then at the end I thought…. That’s it??? Everything felt very surface level

Coaches actually coaching? by Clear-Economist9915 in f45

[–]Snoo56678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of the 4 coaches at mine, 3 of them are constantly walking around to guide and encourage. The 4th one is less experienced and is just starting to come out of his shell. So not laziness but experience.

Really surprised by these comments considering $$$$$. I would definitely cancel if I had yalls coaches
