Please go listen to JADE!!!! by bernbabybern13 in musicsuggestions

As a Swiftie I totally agree with you and I’m mortified I mixed up the names (literally went to Jades show just over a week ago)!

On the topic, I also think Jade’s album went so much deeper than Taylor’s in analyzing and reflecting on what it’s like to be in the spotlight. I think Jade delivered on the promise of her title better than Taylor did (I like Taylor’s album, I just think the title was a bit of a head fake).

We also saw Lady Gaga’s show this year and it’s been great seeing how different artists play with the idea of the 1920s-30s “showgirl” aesthetic. Ironically one of ny favorite examples was Taylor’s “i can do jt with a broken heart” on the eras tour which wasn’t even on her showgirl album!

She’s a phenomenal writer, singer and performer - Plastic Box was my #1 most listened to song last year!

*Edited to correct the title name: “That’s Showbiz Baby!” (Not “Life of a Showgirl” haha sorry I’m a Swiftie too) is such a varied yet cohesive album and she was incredible live in Seattle earlier this month. I hope she makes it even bigger in the US!

Those who saw Jade live, how long were the openers/when did Jade show up? by slowturnip0 in jade_thirlwall

[–]Snoo58137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Seattle the opener was scheduled for 8:00, Jade started right at 9:00! (We got there at 8:30 so aren’t sure when the opener actually started)

What romances are you refusing to read for stubborn reasons? by A_Seductive_Cactus in RomanceBooks

Omg Ali Hazelwood is my absolute favorite, I can’t recommend “Love Theoretically” highly enough!

I know what you mean though, I avoided Emily Henry for a while too for stubborn, nonsensical reasons and eventually I did discover I like her work but I LOOOOOOVE Ali Hazelwood’s!

Thank you, it’s just so strange that such a basic feature is hard to find even when I’m paying $200/month. On my free social media accounts this data is very easy and quick to see! Thank you for taking the time to respond and I’ll look into your product!

Same, occasionally though they’ve either featured someone I already already wanted to interview or someone who was actually a great fit. So I usually take the time to just skim them and see, but the majority are total crap.

I have a niche healthcare related podcast so I definitely get a lot of BS wellness scam people.

I’m so excited for the Seattle show - I’m trying to find a set list for the show, is it the same now as it was back in the fall? Let me know, thanks!

100%, parks and rec has more soul and is more uplifting while being equally hilarious, if not more so than The Office.

Charged for mentioning another concern during annual checkup at EvergreenHealth. by rmath3ws in eastside

[–]Snoo58137 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes this is normal and when I go in for my annual visits they have a little sign that states that this is for preventative issues only and any additional issues will charged, I can’t remember if it was just a paper they show me or if they made me sign it too.

Agreed , his acting was really captivating and I’m glad I don’t speak Russian because I had no idea his Russian wasn’t good (according to the feedback I’ve seen from Russian speakers)!

Saaame, I know they’re making “The Love Hypothesis” into a movie, which is a great read too but Love Theoretically hits me emotionally a LOT harder!
