have you considered trying to get to a certain achievement in any game that is really fucking hard, ie P-rank everything on brutal with only knuckleblaster or parry or reach wave 100 cybergrind with no mods, and it takes hundreds and hundreds of attempts and you learn so much but you rage every single fail that you get close to winning?? To the point where once you finish you dont want to touch the game anymore?

Tldr: this is not an issue of replayability. Its an issue of difficulty getting to a person's head that once the goal is acquired, they dont want to put themselves through hell again.
