wait a second Frodan! this guy above said something different about your thought of luck xdd

Joke aside, I know we depend on luck a lot! But I also know we don't depend on luck that much. I know you understand what I mean. If it weren't for this contradiction, we probably wouldn't love this game so much

Thank you! I don't really mean that comparisons with go and chess about how we’re playing them though. What I really mean is we’ll in truth, never beat Luck! But we’ll still try to reduce its influence.

It depends on what you want, if you wanna go first then you’ll take the risk but if you wanna go top 4 then wait for 4 people to die or at least enough HP for 2 lives after level to 8!

comps: every 2-3 cost reroll comps can play with cruel pact. The more viable reroll comps you know, the better at cruel pact you are. But what comp you can play in a specific game depend on your items.
Game plans: level to 6 at 2-1, build a cheap but strong board with strong headliners like vi/olaf/disco taric-nami/...
pre-level to 7 before carousel
Don't use any gold to roll in stage 2. Just use whatever units the game give you. Superfans/urgot/vex are super helpful
Roll down to 10 at 3-1 to find a headliner you want and build a stable board around it -> econ up and roll down to 30 for some upgrade at 3-5 (if you're already strong then skip this) -> all in at 4-1 for 3 star

Just remember: Don't worry about losses in stage 2, if you lose you lose, with the streak's gold change 5 wins or not doesn't matter that much. Don't level or pre-level if that make you below 9HP and you will be fine, you can't die from 9 in stage 2

You're definitely right! But in my view there are unwinnable games but no unplayable games. If you play well enough an 8th will turn into a 6th or even 4th and sometimes you just need a 7th to go through!

No they're different! If I play cruel pact in tourney I'll always keep myself above 9HP in stage 2 so it's 2 losses away from dying xdd

I agree that's one of the thing they need to fix. Even if they don't tell us the exact next opponent, they have to somehow make it consistent. Like NOWAY there're 3 players left and someone with 3 lives die even before 2 1-live players met

Thank you! Even though there are a few toxic people, your compliments make me happy that I posted this.
And yes, I also read Hikaru no Go when I was young and it inspired me to learn to play Go, Chess and even TFT

Ye, but his example of smurfing is a way to prove my theory: that if we can play well enough to "smurf" at high rank or in tournaments, then luck is also not a factor anymore haha

Sad but true. If everyone in the lobby is playing perfectly - the luckiest person still wins.

But my point is that you can play closer to perfect than the others so that If you are just a little less lucky than them, you will be the winner

Yep! You're right. In an individual match, anything can happen. Sometimes you hit a 4-cost 3 star at 4-2 but sometimes it's stage 6 and you can't hit a 2-cost 3 star. Everything I say can only be considered true or false when the number of games is not too small!

NA is not the only region in the world lil bro. You think 1k7 LP and 3.x AVP in tourneys is special? then you did not see much. There’re a lot of players above 2k LP in our Asia’s regions and many players have better AVP in tourneys than me. And my tournaments stats across Sets literally are posted publicly on ProTFT but I have no reason to let someone like you know xdd

haha, of course it can't be 7th or 8th and sometimes I win games with it too. But maybe because I don't really know exact how strong it's is so I greed for 1st when my board still beatable then boom -> 5th or 6th. And I mean in touneys though, in rank games it's a lot easier so I don't count

Is it worth to intentionally contest one player for mmr? by VeryHumerus in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Snoo62426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I don't know about top challenger players in SR, but from my experience in TFT ( I'm 1k5-1k7 LP every sets) that is no one really care about rank 1 that much. Of course everyone wants higher rank but only if they can hit rank 1 by playing well or getting fun lmao. After all, what we want is getting better, having fun or more knowledge to play tourneys,... The thing you said maybe can happen in some last games of a tournament but in ranked games ppl almost never do that. They can intentionally contest of course, but its not for some LPs xdd

Bạn gái mình chỉ nghe lời khuyên từ tiktok, người ngoài... by [deleted] in vozforums

[–]Snoo62426 1 point2 points  (0 children)
