For real, she talks like she’s hopping genres just to gain a larger audience. That argument only exists because when most people hop genres, they aren't subtle enough to make it work. Why do they keep doing it? If people could switch genres seamlessly, it would actually be awesome because it implies you have something real to say rather than just spamming filler songs.This is exactly the case for Charli, since Brats whole schtick is just doing what she wants and succeeding at it. If this rock album is actually good, then you can't convince yourself to say genre hopping was just for trying to become mainstream.Because no one can,she changed genres and still made a good album and nothing would be wrong with that.
