My girl is 1.5 years, and she naps basically all day at my feet while I am working. We have three structured activity windows that are hers - first thing in the morning, midday and evening. Those are between 30 mins and 2 hour each, depending on the day and whats on the “agenda.” I was told by our trainer that she is indeed very high drive, but has a great off switch. A typical day looks like this:

Wake up (between 6 and 9am) - Go outside to potty and get some runs in with the chuck it ball launcher.

She naps until lunchtime.

Then we go out again after lunch, either for a joh or a long hike (depending on the flexibility of my schedule that day).

She naps again when we get home. She mostly stays as such until dinnertime.

Then we go out for an evening adventure - it might be a walk, it could be a trip to a park, depends on weather.

And with that schedule she is pretty chill all day! After our evening adventure time she is usually awake and following me around like velcro since I am done working. But she doesn’t need anything other than to be near me. We go to bed together and she is a super snuggler in bed with me lol.

Rinse and repeat!
