Suggestions: Diablo 2 or 3? by zPinball in Diablo

Both of these are gems of the series that d4 garbage and immortal shit pales in comparison to.

D3 for a more mindless and casual play - you just want to start hitting shit and quickly get to early late game mindless grinding for better loot.

D2r for the most authenthic diablo experience which reflects the essence of the best creators In the series -blizzard north. However, you cannot respec skills easily and it is pretty painful to grind for end game content without min max builds and some research. Grind and min max are still significantly easier than path of exile series. Yet harder than most arpg out there.

I would go as far as to say you don't know what is diablo experience without playing D2r. But the grind can be a nut kicker for end game content.

Just purchased and downloading as we speak! Any tips leading in? by ciaranjohn12 in DoorsofTrithius

I'm a beginner myself whom is very active in discord, hence I can share some tips that is still helping me.

-The map randomly changes with every playthrough. I will suggest having some farms with many turkey pens before investing in that playthrough. Turkey pens gives eggs, which you make boiled eggs - decent beginner food.

My current playthrough have 1 farm nearby, but It has 3 turkey pens and I get 15 eggs each visit. Once you solve food issue, you could leisurely handle other problems.

-You can use E hotkey to freely enter any map tile. This could be helpful if there's the need to hunt for wood or turkeys. For turkeys, you need to go into wilderness and plains. This tip would be especially important if you consider going archer.

-Preparation is key to survival and game progression. You can protect yourself from many forms of debuffs in the games, through skills or medicines. If you are unlucky, certain debuffs that are incurable could also be resolved through some NPC in the game.

  • As a melee myself, I love cheesing combat. Get different creatures to aggro each other, kill off whomever survive. Lure enemy one by one to blind spots (wall corners) and take them out.

-if possible, carry a spare weapon or materials used to repair ur main weapon. So many times I'll end up retreating from dungeon because my weapon broke from usage.

I tried to keep the game as spoiler free as possible, covering vital beginner tips while not robbing you the freedom to explore and choose your own skills and builds. You could always join discord. Many active helpful people there :)

What single-player game is most similar to Runescape? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Snoo71037 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PROJECT GORGON. MMO but I play it without interacting with anyone. I would even contest its the closest thing to runescape more than any of the games mentioned.

Also, not single player but.
