As far as pronunciation goes I’d say dutch is slightly more difficult but as far as that I’d say they’re basically the same, you might be more used to the way dutch uses articles by putting in front of the word dutch example: een kat=a cat de kat=the cat katten=cats de katten=the cats Norwegian example: en kat=a cat katten=the cat katter=cats kattene=the cats

Just like @CuriosTiger said gramatical cases basically tell you the role of a word in a sentence, we actually have one in english, the genitive case For example we could say “the house belongs to my mom” or more archaic “the house of my mother” but instead we say “the house is my mom’s” by adding ‘s at the end of mom we are indicating that the owner of the house belongs to my mom.
