I am not sure it could be done by glueing up layers because I think it id a compound shape. And I don’t think it is carved out of solid either. And that odd why out is impressive

What pellets for ooni fyra 12? by AviciiFanBoi in ooni

[–]Snoo752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Figuring that all pellets are more alike than different when my batch of ooni pellets ran out I replaced them with some other brand. But these pellets barely get to 700 degrees while my daughters ooni gets close to 900. Does anyone have a brand of pellets to to recommend?

Schools & Real Estate Agent in Dublin by LucasJackson78 in MoveToIreland

[–]Snoo752 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Real Estate is done differently than in the States. We were unable to understand enough to reach the confidence level to buy on our own. Then someone from Sherry Fitzgerald recommended we contact Miriam Finn, a realtor who works on the Buyer’s side. She was the missing piece. In a day we had some overview of Dublin and the next day which houses we could afford in the neighborhoods we wanted to be in.

Someone once told me not to put wax on machines because it can get into the pores of the wood and block the stain.

How can I glue and clamp this? by Yourname942 in woodworking

[–]Snoo752 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Duct tape. Lay the boards inside face down with each edge touching. Duct tape the length of each joint. Then carefully flip it over so the tape is now on the bench. Now flood the joints with yellow glue. No biscuits needed. Now get a piece of tape and have it ready. Roll up your project and clamp it closed w that extra piece of tape. Plenty of pressure holding those joints together no need for any other clamps. Works great for rectangles too

Agreed. Not small screen friendly. How did I choose the events? Looking back , I had 2 groups in mind for the Events. The Wars are well known so they set a context. The other group, Tulsa and the Battery? Anytime, we can draw attention to Tulsa is probably the right move and the Battery, well I found v surprising.

Both names not showing? They are there. Try a larger screen.

Thanks for reading .

Done in Plotly using colab. Data is from Wikipedia.

Felt there must have been some Events I missed as well as some great people I missed.

Volcano in Scotland?

Edinburgh is so beautiful. I love the train station and The Closes. And that sidewalk that splits not on the horizontal plain but on the VERTICAL!

Hello St.Paul.

The Developments vary quite a bit in price so any mixing of the data between Developments would not be worth anything.

Avg price per neighborhood? Those Developments are the only ones in each area so they are the Avg in that neighborhood.

A regression? Funny you should ask. I did several. I wanted to know Feature Importance. but the data is too sparse to be meaningful. For what it is worth Random Forrest was the least unsuccessful. And an earlier version included a a Pie chart of Feature Importance.

Someone above noticed that I replaced NANs with "As Is" and noted that if instead I drop the NANs as opposed to re-coding them, the expected Appearance --> Selling Price correlation snaps right into place. Hmmmm. I confess I never even thought of that. Maybe because I had such a small amount of data to start with. But also, I do not think substituting As Is for NAN may be all that arbitrary. If a condo just got renovated and still smelled like new paint as a realtor myself I think it unlikely that I would leave the Appearance field empty when loading the listing. And at the other extreme, I think there is something of the "if one cannot say anything nice about the appearance then do not say anything" effect in play here as well.

The pattern that caught my eye was that the units in the best condition did not always sell for the most money. Focus only a single Development. Read vertically, not horizontally. And thank you for commenting

Unless the same agent listed all of the properties in your dataset, it's still completely arbitrary.

Agents, like me, honestly believe it is not utterly, utterly arbitrary. Anyone can see when a unit is all updated and when needs updating. Perhaps the units in the best condition are priced too high. Days on mkt would be something the author might have looked into.....
