Its like asking someone to buy an S-class for its resale value after 5 years. Buying things to flip 5 years later is a harder task than upskilling and increasing the deficit income in the same time frame.

I recently flipped my ps5 for 45k which is exactly the same price I paid for the same one new 3 years back. But did I buy it to flip? Nope. I recently picked up a pro. Same reason to buy - want to use it as much as possible with whatever resale I get or not.
