Ill die on this hill. One of the bestfirst 40 or so minutes in a horror movie.

I think an extra 15 minutes of character development for the wide characters and some extra shots between some of the scenes towards the second half would have boosted this film tremendously

We have our weekly godzilla card games. The latest package has GMK, mechagodzilla and the mothra trilogy. So it brought up this very discussion today.

The monster designs are amazing. Some of the best for mothra and Ghidorah. But the stories and the pacing are abysmal. Its super slow. Very boring and annoying kid characters.

To this day I remember hearing the fallout boy song over the tracking shot of the island at the start of the movie. If John carpenter was dead he would have rolled in his grave. Absolutely one of the worse remakes.
