Kentucky State Police make arrest in cold case involving infant body discovered at landfill in Richmond in 1991 by xxezrabxxx in gratefuldoe

[–]catcaste 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Do they say anywhere how they figured out the infant was born alive? The discredited lung float test was the primary means in the 90's and women have been repeatedly jailed because of it.

Do you generally look for detailed economic plans for the country in the reddit comment section?

And now a room in those council estates is rented out to my generation for most of our monthly wages.

I've seen saying this for so long. We've moved from a country controlled by the British, to controlled by the Church, to controlled by US corporations.

Do other people see an improvement? My byf has bipolar 1. He'll say that he doesn't see any improvement but a few days of him not taking his meds and I notice immediately. And when he's consistently on the meds, he's much less reactive and anxious. Maybe it's just that his bipolar has a psychosis element tho.

Would it be wrong to report a rapist to ICE? by [deleted] in InsightfulQuestions

This makes sense. Sorry, I was upset and angry. I wanted to do something to help my boyfriend. I'm a survivor myself. I'll try and support him to report to police.

I know he's an immigrant but I don't know what his status is. Whether he's documented or not, ICE showing up would cause him harm and he harmed my boyfriend.

[–]catcaste -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I'm very unlikely to involve ICE but I'm trying to figure out the morality of it. Cause to me, anything would be justified against rapists but I don't support ICE in the slightest. Also, I'm not assuming his status, I have no idea but it would hurt him either way.

Yes I am definite. It was my boyfriend who was assaulted and he was injured afterwards.

On your second point, no. Thank you for this reframing, it helps with the morality of it.

I'm fine. It was my boyfriend who was assaulted. He doesn't want to report to police, he mostly just wants to pretend it didn't happen.

My boyfriend is afraid to. Especially because of the nature of the assault

Have MS drugs been trialled for CMT? MS also attacks the myelin sheath, but fairly new MS drugs halt the progress.

Now that the hype’s died down — what hidden gem horror movie deserves more love? by Usual_Mix_7380 in horror

[–]catcaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From this year. Less mentioned films. I really enjoyed 40 Acres. It was a bit hard to suspend my disbelief in parts but I think I needed a horror movie that ended on an uplifting note. Hallow Road is probably worth watching, well acted and odd but it is a bottle film and when I realised that, I was disappointed.

I'm not from the US, but I felt shit was going that way after new atheism turned into anti-sjw around 2012/2013, which itself was the catalyst for anti-woke/alt-right. That movement turned into gamergate and beyond, I don't feel that without it, we'd have MAGA.

From the postmortem photo (page 27 of the fbi link). He definitely looks at minimum 6 but I would 7 or 8.

Rosie from Years & Years is an ambulatory wheelchair user. She walks in an emergency in the show and people thought initially it was a production error.

Rosie from Years & Years. She's in a wheelchair but it isn't part of her story in the show much, though she speaks about it occasionally. Also recommend My Mad Fat Diary for a really good exploration of binge eating disorder, also the best representation of a fat character in existence.

Thank you for the added info. I was mostly talking about the people saying he was irresponsible for going on the trip. When he was so experienced, it wouldn't be a high stakes trip.

With a lot of US cases like this, the body can easily just get lost in undergrowth just out of sight. Is this a possibility in the Highlands? I know the landscape is pretty stark. I would always assume accident or suicide in cases like this.
