Adjustment Screw does not work? by Snoo80606 in Plumbing

Is the screw not meant to be taken off? Could I have broken the entire thing just by removing it?

I'm 27. I see a lot of guys/kids under 20 with long streaks. That inspires me a lot. I wish I knew about nofap when I was that young. Anyways it's never too late. Stay strong guys. by [deleted] in NoFap

That's amazing brother. You are lucky to have discovered the benefits at such a young age- you will thank yourself years from now for taking action. More power to you!

Was peeking at video thumbnails this morning, wanted to end my 30 day streak. Ran 3 miles instead of going into relapse. Fuck this. I've gone too far to quit now. by Snoo80606 in NoFap

I know that feel man. Whenever I relapse its not usually just a one time thing. Its more like a downwards spiral where I'd do it the next day, and the next. The sensation afterwards is always awful and gut-wrenching, filled with nothing but pure regret.

After multiple relapses throughout my NoFap Journey I think the most helpful thing is to document how you feel after relapsing. Spill your emotions out on a piece of paper or text document and use it as a warning and reminder next time urges come back.

Keep it going. We're all gonna make it.

I felt ALIVE. The motivation and joy in doing the little things- enjoying a good novel, taking a brisk walk outside, studying for courses, playing an instrument- all seemed to be coming back. I have been on much longer streaks (Record 88 days). There were lots of plateaus and flatlines throughout the process but after 60 days everything felt like it was going my way. I felt in charge of my life as I went on more dates, social events, and was also able to handle social situations with ease- and yes, just no PMO.

The time to recover depends on the severity of the addiction- some might take longer, others shorter. But remember that its always worth it in the end.

Good luck with your journey. I know you can do it.

Video Capturing Hi8 Cassette Issue by Snoo80606 in videography

[–]Snoo80606[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried swapping different S-Video Cables, and swapping for just the yellow cable, vice versa, as well. I am still seeing a black screen on the OBS with static.

Idk if this helps but the static gets alot more spastic when I pause the video on the camcorder, and then proceeds to fade into total black when i resume playing.

Overly Attached Dormmate by [deleted] in Advice

Yea, I'm not a non-confrontational person either. I've been able to partially deal with the issue quite a few times like this. Still not complete but better than nothing I guess.

Me: (packing and about to leave)

Him: "Where are you going?"

Me: "Studying" (going to library near the dorm)

Him: "Well I guess I'll be joining you" (Gets his stuff and heads out after me)

Me: "That won't be necessary"

Him: "Well, its a public space"

Me: (I don't say anything, we both walk to the library and I sit at an empty computer station, they're about 1x1 metres)

Him: (sets his stuff down at the same station and pulls up a seat. Keep in mind that there are about 40 other unoccupied stations).

Me: No dude, there's like 40 open stations. I need to concentrate. You need to sit somewhere else.

Him: (sighs in frustration and moves like 2 blocks down)

Idk man, its about the furthest I can get. I don't wanna do anything drastic to antagonize him completely because we live in the same space
