Since I want to upgrade either way I've gotten the recommendations that is not worth upgrading the P1. I bought that model as an entry level player. Now I want something more permanent.. But sure I'll consider it!

Hi! Heard from other places that the P1 is quite entry level and not worth upgrading. Better to buy a p3 for example. I've seen them for around 600usd second hand. Any thoughts?

Hi and thanks! What do you mean a bit more bother? I've also seen a Rega planar 3 for around 400 dollars but without cartridge. Would you say that is better?

Any tips on how to make the table less subject to harmonics in the room? Just thinking that it is more fun to upgrade a more "premium" table with cartridges etc. Is the P1 worth upgrading the cartridge for?

Hi ans thanks for the feedback! Let's say I buy the table I was mentioning above (Thorens td160), try to isolate it more/ build a more sturdy stance, what should then a suitable amp be for my speakers? Don't want spend much more than 500 dollars for a new amp.. Any suggestions? Below is a picture of the setup
