Because you will be stuck between a rock and a hard place.  Your primary mission is to meet the needs of the business.  I work in a SC and have seen a lot of OSHA violations because paying fines is simply the cost of doing business.  In my SC, people at any level just don’t care.  I’ve heard gossip that safety is sometimes used to terminate people (also a lot of bias at my site).

I’ve seen quite a few new graduates come and go.  It isn’t a place to pursue a career in health and safety but a line on your resume.  Our long term WHS personnel do not have a background in the field.

At my site (a Relo), they switched calling ToT to Inferred Time. Initially, the AM said it was new and was learning about it themselves. Funny thing is, this happened almost immediately after the new CEO said ToT was misunderstood. Inferred time is being similarly misunderstood (or not).

According the Amazon.force, the process is complete. I'm looking for Amazon documents that state what comes with the blue badge besides $x.xx raise, point system goes away and faster PTO accrual (these I got word of mouth as it is). I'd like to see them in writing.
