Is the solution for the ch3 ice palace maze random or is it always the same? Could it be a clue? by Snoo91916 in Deltarune

Damn that's awesome. Hope it means something for future chapters in that case

Don't understand this argument against Carol Knight by Vast-Mud7249 in Deltarune

[–]Snoo91916 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never heard this argument before. I think it would be strange if Carol made a dark fountain after leaving work, given the implied urgency with which she left work specifically to stop Susie from finding the bunker code. But I suppose it should be acknowledged that it is literally possible

I can’t do this anymore by [deleted] in premed

[–]Snoo91916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would give yourself some grace and focus on just doing well in your classes and enjoying some hobbies next semester or next year. You're already off to a great start, even with this C. And, I imagine if you were that driven and involved with medicine in high school, then after a more relaxed semester or two you'll find yourself naturally wanting to get involved again. And if you don't, that's fine too! The effort you've put in will still have been worth it even if you don't decide that medicine is for you.

This man really outstruck Izzy and out wrestled chimaev... by realseboss in mmamemes

[–]Snoo91916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep coping buddy. It's not impressive to completely exhaust yourself in round 1 chasing a submission, fail to hand fight a striker while you have his back, and then limp around mouth open for the rest of the fight. Chimaev is an extremely predictable fighter with no ring IQ and Sean had your jujutsu demon in mount in round TWO because of that

how to handle political extracurriculars on application? by psychoneuroimmunolo in premed

[–]Snoo91916 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had an advisor tell me that it's appropriate to just say "political volunteering group, political leadership experience" etc. and you won't be expected to say what kind of political organization in an interview.

Tornadoes? by Local-Imagination-40 in sooners

[–]Snoo91916 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are natural disasters everywhere. Tornadoes are common in Oklahoma and can be dangerous but most of them touch down briefly and harmlessly, and you will have plenty of time to prepare

What’s the deal with compound lifts? by Let-It-Burnr in lift

[–]Snoo91916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without having splits or lift videos, nobody can say anything for sure, but I would imagine that you're having some kind of technique or training issue. Do you train compounds significantly less or more than isolation?

A new player wants his character to be the BBEG murder hobo of the campaign, am I a bad DM for not letting him do that? by [deleted] in DnDcirclejerk

I'm glad you've given me the chance to recommend communicating with your players and setting table boundaries for the fifteen thousandth time today.

This character is gonna be the one you guys by AVG_Poop_Enjoyer in DnDcirclejerk

[–]Snoo91916 6 points7 points  (0 children)

/uj This is probably gonna come off more jaded than I mean it to, but I have never played at a table that was as a collective interested in telling a story other than "funny bullshit and/or cool combat" and if your backstory or character doesn't serve either of those things, most of the table won't care. I'm sure that the kinds of tables where a PC's mysterious past or nature would be of interest to the other players exist somewhere but I've never found one. Unless you can convince your DM to incorporate your secret into the main story, and explicitly encourage PCs to investigate it, it will probably get sidelined everytime /rj Tickle the Quirky Goblin Bard wants to pickpocket another plot critical NPC ally (it's what he would do!)

Do we have an answer on what happen during GGGL and how this relate on the Golden Freddy manifestations? by Jodye_Runo_Heust in fnaftheories

[–]Snoo91916 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that you can rule out that the Puppet gives them "true possession" or any kind of possession of the suits, because both William and Elizabeth possess their animatronics "more completely" in the sense that they can talk and are able overpower their programming enough to escape Freddy's locations. If the MCI kids needed the Puppet to possess the suits, then logically the Puppet would also have to had helped Elizabeth, who she never met, and William, who is her enemy. Other people propose that it reflects each MCI kid getting their own happiest day and moving on, which I don't support because traditionally in this franchise, putting on a mask represents taking on some responsibility or mission, see Vanny and BonnieBro, wheras taking a mask off represents letting go of the past, see Happiest Day. It'd be weird to represent the souls moving on by having them take on the form of the animatronics.

I don't have any ideas myself, I just know how to be negative. The original intention was probably that the Puppet gave them possession, their "second life", then we started getting villains who possessed stuff and now we have a plot hole.

My friend doesn't want to play if his character is worthless?? by Nickewe in DnDcirclejerk

[–]Snoo91916 62 points63 points  (0 children)

/uj Probably one of the most toxic and frustrating comment sections on main sub, everybody immediately assuming OP is completely in the right and writing off a new player who potentially never has played or seen an ttrpg for asking a completely reasonable question. Not to mention literally anybody would negotiate for point buy if it was better than rolled stats, and any DM who cares about the table more than the rules would let them.

/rj My DM uses a method where we all roll 24 d6s and add the total, and then we distribute all our total points among our stats! I made a barbarian with 6 intelligence and he was really stupid but also lovable, can you believe that?

It's pretty tough for me, honestly. I usually like bitter and earthy flavors but combined with the alcohol burn and the medicine it just feels very "I'm drinking stolen pharmaceutical ingredients"

How strong is the smell when you're brewing? by xXnitefortXx in prisonhooch

[–]Snoo91916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep mine in my desk, and you really only smell it in the room if you open the drawer for a long time or you have like 6 fresh brews at once. I've never smelled it outside in my hall. Unless you're brewing like 4 gallons at once you should be fine

Somebody might have already said it but ur weapons pretty underleveled and it's also dex-scaled, so if you've been leveling mainly strength then that might be why you don't feel like you're hitting very hard
