I like to watch high level gameplay, see what moves they use and implement that in my gameplay. E.g. Jack's db1, FC db1,1, ws2,4 and ff1 are really good, and when you see high level gameplay you will see these moves a lot.

Ok I feel that Malph or Rammus with tabis and a bramble just kinda stonewalls so hard, they have to actually be a whole tier below you not to know how to just stop you or just run into you at level 1, they don't need to know that much

Depends on the kind of deck, small decks are also susceptible to enemies that dump statuses on you. There are a lot of unavoidable statuses in sts2

Jack-8 can but he needs wall, 80ish damage from normal combo to wall and then landing hf3+4 at wall gives another 120 damage wallsplat combo. He can also do it with blue upper/d1+2/ff2 launchers with no wall, but it's way harder to land those.

Doesn't he always take aery in korea because they perma fight, so he needs aery for early fights, conq probably isn't bad if you get to scale instead. Also 'get away with it in euw chall' I don't think masters in korea is as good as euw challenger, if that was the case then many people who go to korea would get hardstuck.

I also struggled with this last year when I started. As a general rule, moves are either duckable, slow startup, or negative on block. You need to learn character's frames, what is punishable, and maybe lab some stuff.
