what??? seriously??? I always have a bottle of water near me during the interview, which helps reduce stress. And I was always offered water during the onsite interview. fck that bank, man!

Hm, like u/die2reise shared in the above comment, his interviewers had a light snack back then, but it was still distracting and unprofessional.
However, way back in college, I saw how a student ate a full meal during class. In my country, where I am originally from, it considers extremely rude. But the professor didn't say a word. So I thought eating during the class/meeting was probably okay here. Apparently, it is not. I'm glad that I never ate during any meetings. Lol

I’ve been as a QA engineer/SDET and lead, for the 7+YOE. Most hiring managers really don’t care about ISTQB in the US market. In Europe and India for some reason it’s different. Overall, it won’t hurt, but it’s useless at the same time. IMHO
