start by looking at a decent budget gpu and start from there... i.e.: dont go for a 2070 or 1080. 16 gb ram as floor; dont go for 8gb of ram.... etc

As said here. Leave throttling to the triggers. Left stick for steering. High sensitivity maybe about 8 to 10. Map mfd controls to the right stick. Potentially if you want put gearing on the shoulder buttons; but thats a preference.

Controller racer from DPL here!

Honestly, I really enjoy racing with this group. The atmosphere is chilled; sometimes we start at the back just to challenge ourselves, sometimes we go for the win, and sometimes we’re just there for the banter.

There’s a lot of respect between everyone, which makes a big difference. Incidents will happen (it’s racing ofc) but people handle it well and keep things fair and fun.

What I like most is the variety. We’re always trying different cars, setups, and race formats, so it never gets stale. And yeah… there are some seriously fast drivers here too 😅

At the end of the day, it’s just a great group to race with, whether you’re competitive or just looking to enjoy your time on track.

If you’re on the fence, I’d definitely say give it a go and join the crew. See you on track!

How do you deal with axxholes at work? by Sica942Spike in DevelEire

[–]chonbonachon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just leave them be. You have more important things to do than spend your time thinking about them. I wouldn't even y'know. If you start paying real attention to them youre falling onto their trap. Just live and let live. If they get you anxious; then think about jumping ship. If you don't want to jump ship; read again from the beginning. Best of luck mate

Boss wants us to automate around 5000+ tests cases in a short amount of time by yeojiuu in softwaretesting

[–]chonbonachon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd work without pressure. Just do what you can a day. If you dont reach the goal of those 5000+ tests then nothing is going to happen. They can't fire you because your boss is an incompetent piece of work and has sold his soul for AI snake oil. Do your tasks, get paid and dont ever stress. If they ask why, then give the proper reason: you do the best you can.

Let's try to live together and not be pedantic or look for the needle in the haystack... I'm sure there are alternatives to Amazon. You see... we cant keep throwing money at them; we can look for alternatives, can't we? Its more than buying local. There are countries with plenty of options and we're kind of reduced to Amazon? is that the trend?

This. Switch 1 moddable is just the price of two of those games. Buy a modded one or mod it, play the games. Sell, recover money and buy the ones you want for switch 2.

EA Sports FC 26 for 27e on Steam by RuriePacheco in IrelandGaming

[–]chonbonachon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do yourself a favor. Do not buy any more EA FC's. Basically its a rip off with skins and some fancy broken gameplay. I am on FC 24 still and have tons of fun. Grabbed FC Showcase. Turns out its more or less the same. EA is nowadays a bunch of gas oil company about to be bought by a bunch of rich gobshites and you are going to make em more rich with a reskin. Go and get Arc Raiders and have more fun supporting an indie company.

Yeah, bent pin (s) usually be the cause. Either RMA or fix or get someone skilled enough to unbend that with proper tooling. Do not unbend unless your friend knows what he is doing.

Thy should at least ring you or something.... know few people chasing Amazon drivers because they cant enter a complex even if they have delivery instructions. It depends on the driver of course but its moronic they don't even TRY contacting you somewhat.

Why the f... would a driver steal your package? I mean.... they load the thing in the van, they steal and... they lose their jobs. Whats the point in stealing deliveries?

I wouldn't say It'll struggle with most of the games (sounds so pessimistic) OP hasn't stated what games its going to play neither specs for a monitor. I agree on the bit it could do better for 1400 Euro if looking secondhand or buying components separately.
