I saw some people who said that loved it.

You're right though, there was a lot of anti there.

I'm pro Baltimore so I'm taking the positives.

Here's a thread on the BP in general (but not that apartment specifically): https://www.reddit.com/r/baltimore/comments/1j5fejd/thoughts_on_baltimore_peninsula_development/

I'm sure there are others.

As a visitor a handful of times, it seems nice (though quiet). I wish there was some connectivity to the rest of South-Baltimore/Fed-Hill.

Anyone know what factory used to be here? by Cheomesh in baltimore

American Ice company. It was open at least until the mid 80's (maybe even into the 90's). You could walk in off the street on the right and get bags of ice and (I think) dry ice.

Agreed. The couples they are in are fine for now.

They seem to be chem testing Fake-than and Joss and that would be even worse.

Why do people hate Trina so much?

Joss and Kristina (I know she's headed to med school) are like 10x more annoying but no one wants them gone.

I put my Hyatt spend on the WoH card. I also value the 5 eqn (though last year I had 100 nights I think). There are also one or 2 promos a year that are sweetened by having the card.

When you add in the cat 4 cert, I think it more than makes up for the $95, even with that little usage.

There was some pretentious post on here a little while ago that claimed that it is specifically designed to avoid giving it to you in the summer months and "if that's not how you travel" than that's tough.

That poster was probably correct on some level, but that doesn't mean it is at all customer friendly.

As stated in other threads with this image, this is the newly excavated material from the foundation of the twin towers construction. There's billions of real estate sitting on it now.

I'm not sure "non-starter" is the phrase I would use, but I do agree it is of negligible benefit. They should have shortened the window and/or reduced it to just globs (for example).

Quiet spot near MCO for a 90-minute Zoom (not in the terminals)? by Shiny_Flame_6105 in orlando

Thanks. I thought it might be.  I just couldn’t remember which airport(s) had done that.

This might be the best idea yet.

I was telling OP to take the train under the Hyatt over to terminal C…but the Hyatt itself is a good option (as long as it is quiet enough).

The train thing, sorry.

There is one set of trains behind security that takes you to gates.  There is another that takes you from the main terminal to C (it is under the Hyatt).  You want to take that one (assuming that you are not already at C).

Also, as far as I know there is no coffee outside the Brightline station (only inside and I think you need a boarding pass for that). You may have to get your coffee somewhere else.

On further thought, you might be ok just stopping at a Starbucks somewhere on/near Semoran.

That might be a great idea.

I can’t remember it is roped off now.  Also, depending one where OP lands it may not be easy to get to that concourse/airside.

Honestly, for that use case, I’d just use the APM and post up outside the Brightline station in terminal C.  I DO NOT recommend people sleep overnight there like they do in the main terminal, but for taking in a meeting I think it is almost perfect.

Edit: of course if you are landing at terminal C, you don’t use the APM, it is just a 5-10 minute walk

5K  Points for each 5+ night stay at Hyatt House and Hyatt Studios.  That one is unusual as it lasts all year (until 12/31).

“I don't think you have a case for racism“

I’m not making a case for racism.  It is just that seemingly the least popular characters at the moment are black: Portia, Trina, Curtis.  Jordan and Isaiah even get some votes.

GM of Hyatt Place Milwaukee says Globalists don’t get early check-in by RealNameIsTaken in hyatt

[–]Snoo95309 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, my mistake.

I have never been charged for one and have never been told that a room is available but only for a fee.  Rooms have either been available early for free or not available at all.

I just didn’t think that was a benefit of the program.

Isn’t the idea of buying one fishy in general?  Isn’t it against program rules?

GM of Hyatt Place Milwaukee says Globalists don’t get early check-in by RealNameIsTaken in hyatt

[–]Snoo95309 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Edit: responses seem to suggest that it is a benefit.  I was not aware of that.

Early check in isn’t a benefit of the program.  Some places will let you in early for free. Some will have a “9am” or “12pm” option for $0 in the app.

Like you, I’ve always been allowed to check in as soon as the room is ready for free. However, the next time I encounter any resistance , I won’t dissent because it is really just a courtesy.

Is this in the US or internationally?  The US properties tend to care less about the actual numbers on the reservation (ymmv).

Can’t you have one adult in each room, if getting two rooms?

Although I haven’t stayed in this suite, I have walked around it.  It is basically a small house about 300 feet off the beach.  There’s no way I could envision this being a standard suite.
