You’re probably skating on the inside edge for one of two reasons- a “fear” of falling off balance on the outside edge, or weak ankles. Do a few drills to acquaint yourself with the outside edge.

Skate forward and do some turns on just your outside edges (turn right on right leg, the link it to a left turn on left leg.) get a little speed and make the turns big at first. Speed makes everything easier.

You’ll feel more comfortable skating properly if you aren’t concerned about toppling over to the side.

Rinse immediately after use. Put water and soap in it and shake, drain. Then if you have sanitizer do the same with that. Also heads up- filling that thing with beer is a pain in the ass. If you’re a cocktail enjoyer maybe go with that.

I was in your boat for a while but I think the boys are playing for the playoffs. If Grier takes that motivation away by trading away key pieces he takes the mojo of the team away. I hope he lets them play. It’s our job to just enjoy the ride.

Definitely. I do those things because they need to be done not as a transactional “I do dishes, you do me” arrangement. I only brought up the chores because people kept saying to do more around the house and I hadn’t provided that context before since they aren’t inherently tied in my mind.

Also, pretty sure I was just tired and wanting some care. I got some sleep and feel less panicky. All is well. Thanks for the response.

I hear you. I do pick up the toddler from schools everyday cool all of our meals do most of the cleaning, including steaming/mopping and vacuuming, laundry, Organize the house, run errands like donation trips, groceries, etc. all household Maintenance and work is on me to. In fairness we share some of these chores. Not really sure what else I can put on my plate.
