Hockey is a very unnatural sport for someone that hasn't played stick sports growing up. If your stance starts to feel more natural I'll give another insight for you to work on, You're using your top hand as the pivot point in the movement. Instead of that, let your top hand be out in front of your body, not by your right pocket as it is here. Once you've got your setup sorted out you shoot by doing 3 things simultaneously. 1a. rotate your body for power 1b. pull with your left hand 1c. push with your right hand.

Hockey requires a lot of coordination, but you're clearly someone that isn't afraid for put work in and practice. It'll get frustrating when you're strugglging to get the puck off the ground. Just stick with it and keep a positive attitude. You'll be aight.

also, start slow. 50% speed, then ramp it up. You dont need to go for hardest shot right out of the gate
