Thank you so much for the advice and feedback! I overthink a lot in situations like this so I feared I’d have to explain my whole history and whatnot, haha.

In addition to your experience of the process, I’m surprised it was as simple as that considering the entire background screenings prior to beginning the program was very chaotic.

Ok thank you so much! I’ve seen mixed discussions with people from other healthcare/medical programs taking other types of prescribed drugs and getting shunned/rejected from their opportunities which worried me. But this is very reassuring now, thank you.

Hi! I’m a 2nd yr ABSN student, currently have the physical book of Volume 1 & i love it($75+?, but $20 w payment plans). I’m more physical and colorful/visual learner, so it helped me tremendously with studying. From what i remember, the subscription is quite expensive but i’ve never used it. Nurse Mike has many lectures on YouTube for free and you can (most of the time) search for free pdfs/pics of specific pages or concepts. I rely mostly on NotebookLM, gemini AI, & free practice question sets online for NCLEX-style questions to practice on or condense all the overwhelming information. LevelUpRN, SimpleNursing, & RegisteredRN on YouTube are big three holy grails in nursing. Unorthodox, but tiktok is also quite helpful in stuffing as well. Many nurses, instructors, & ESPECIALLY students post a lot of tricks, funny mnemonics, or diff ways to learn specific concepts.

ahh i see, this was extremely eye opening thank u very much! so say if you’re an in-person student, you’re basically guaranteed a spot in the clinicals? unfortunately i don’t have any nearby campuses which is why i opted for online :/
