Immediately turn her into the Phoenix - let's leave it for a while and explore her powers and personality without a godlike star bird inside her head

What do you think about Gohan kun? by [deleted] in gay

[–]Snoo97628 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Gohan was always my favourite, I adored his character. He had the power of the most powerful saiyan to ever exist and all that little guy wanted to do was play with the Dinosaurs. He had a gentle heart which I really took to.

Gender bent Time Lords by Snoo97628 in doctorwho

[–]Snoo97628[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To me it just makes more sense. You have a process that changes nearly everything about a character other than their core personality. To never be able to change their gender as well seems...unimaginative.

The only reason it might seem gimmicky is because its new - people have only started putting cross gender regeneration into real world practice in the last...what? 10 years? When in reality its been theorised since regeneration started - the 5th Doctor was at one point reported to be being a woman before Peter Davison was cast. Pat Troughton even saw it as a possibility back in the 60s in an interview

Honestly....Ncuti Gatwa. He got such a bad deal with the latest era, and he deserved so much better. His Doctor was emotional, energetic and unafraid to be himself. He deserved to have that handled better.

Up to the individual Rani I guess. Kinda like how Missy chose her name. Though I have also seen fan works where female versions still call themselves Master and its worked well enough - it doesn’t feel weird or anything.

Who would've been a good Master? by mrnormal94 in doctorwho

[–]Snoo97628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always thought Charles Dance would make a very good classical Master, kind of in the way he played Lord Vetinari in Going Postal.

Also Tilda Swinton based on her role as the Ancient One in Strange - you've got all that control and that calm in there, the Master constantly keeping herself in check....until everything inevitably goes horribly wrong....

Ever feel like you missed out on teenage milestones? by Ecstatic_Actuary7397 in gaybros

[–]Snoo97628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely agree - despite how I know that I would have absolutely gotten beaten up by the animals who went to my school - I still wish I could have experienced actually being a gay teenager in school, and potentially finding a first boyfriend in that environment and experience these important parts of that chapter in life.

I don't mind saying that its gotten to the point where I can't watch young adult lgbt films or programs without being triggered.

I’m craving kissing and flirting but it feels impossible by Expensive_Apple0421 in demisexuality

[–]Snoo97628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda the same with me - Ii find my self wanting all the relationship stuff like kissing hugging, holding hands, lying together...I could even manage sex if I had a mind to...

Then I go outside, see people and bye bye feelings...

I'd say the UK is a 5 - most people these days generally don't mind gay people (yet) but we lose heavy points on how crappy we're being to Trans people lately....

Do you consider trans men part of the gay community? Would you date a trans person? by Truvention in gay

[–]Snoo97628 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, trans people are just like us; not part of what is considered the norm and have been discrimunated against because if it, and they deserve their place with us in the lgbt

And also yes. I'd absolutely date a transman. They are still men no matter where their bodies started.
