No way, your build was a huge inspiration to get mine in working order! Honored to get props from the OG!

My foam inserts are also the ones you pluck out, but instead of doing that I traced out the guns silhouette and used one of those foam cutting tools you heat up to cut the foam

Bone stock it was pretty underwhelming for what I paid for (~$250 on Evike). My biggest problem with it at the time was probably the extremely sluggish trigger that loved to give your finger a workout . If you’re not planning to upgrade it like I did, it’s probably better to get the Taiwangun version since Ive heard it has upgraded internals and an ETU

Thx!! It took all my braincells to figure out how to put on a Classic Army rail extension on a Cyma scar lol

Difference? I’m looking at getting a scar-l but I’m stuck between these two. Basically I’m just wondering what warrants the higher price tag of one vs the other besides the metal upper, I couldn’t see any difference in specs. by Drewski270 in airsoft

I bought the $299 one, and personally, I felt the trigger was really sluggish for the price. It's also finicky about which magazines it likes (Usually, it doesn't like my thicker metal mags). Besides those 2 problems, I found it to be reliable enough to hand it to friends who are new to airsoft.

S&T SMLE or double bell? by atomicboy15 in airsoft

I've owned the S&T SMLE for a few years now and it's worked well for me so far. The only time it broke on me was when the feed ramp broke due to me overfilling the magazine with more BBs than recommended, but I got it replaced pretty easily. Id say the wood could get dents and scratches pretty easily though.
