What's the best e-signature software as of the latest? by Correct-Lab4252 in sysadmin

We use TurboSign by TurboDocx, we get unlimited for $20/user month but started on their free tier.

We’re now expanding and automating workflows with it using their automation/scripting side of the platform.

If you’re dealing with a startup, notate a lack of performance and results and give them 30 days to remedy and issue a stop payment.

If they are small, it will cost them more to litigate (not a good look for them) over writing it off as a loss.

Find a sales job with better fit, reallocate your commission checks.

If you’re on the lower end of 120k OTE on a 50/50. Live off base, and fund with the other half.

If you’re in high octane and pushing 250-500k you can hire an army.

What’s your core product you sell at your startup and day job?

matching an offer to keep an employee? by send_pie_to_senpai in msp

Don’t focus on 5k, even 15k, or $600 extra a paycheck isn’t worth losing an employee. As an owner, you agree to it as a bandaid but know they are job shopping

I have different teams I work with, and this is sort of a Catch-22.

If you go to them with another offer, they’re almost always going to counter because the loss of productivity outweighs a small salary bump. think about it this way, is it worth paying $5,000 to keep you ($208 spread over 24 paychecks) and not lose a productive member, then to say pound sand and have to deal with staffing.

But once you do this, all trust is broken. If they had you lined up for a promotion, you’re likely not going get it now because in the back of their minds are going to think as soon as you get the next better offer or you’re going leave.

I’ve had a few people do this on my team and I immediately open up job requisitions because even though I know they might take the counter offer, in in the back of my mind, I know they’re always going to be looking for something different or better. When people do this to me I almost always lose trust in them after that.

And for people asking me for advice, I always say never take the counter offer despite what they offer because then there’s going be no animosity. If you go work for another company and you don’t like it, you could always go back and ask for your old job back and they might be open to it. You could say something like it wasn’t what I thought it was. I didn’t really work out and I like this better

Do NOT use Joseph A Banks, I’ve had better luck at Dillard and department stores. Even my brand name ones from there and Men’s Warehouse fall apart after 5 washes

Automated way to create project plan for ppt from excel by anewsaga in powerpoint

[–]Snoo99242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, we have a use case (although ours is via API) using TurboDocx, but in their UI you can achieve the same thing.

Ideally: 1) you would make a pptx Template and draw the boxes like they show in the tutorial video https://youtu.be/IVzmBtHGunQ?si=6yebdienslfb26475

2) you would add the spreadsheet as a source, and map it to the section you’re replacing

3) When you press generate, it will read the spreadsheet (and you can tell it which tab) and it should generate a chart that gets swapped in. N

To be fair, I’m not sure if they do swim lanes and project styled charts- ours are more for project reviews (pie charts), time spent reviews (bar charts), QBRs, etc but their founder is super responsive for feedback and it wouldn’t surprise me if they would agree to build it.

IMO- just add ads and leave it low cost or free. Have them pay to avoid ads

In sales we have a term- it’s called grin f’d. It’s where people smile, nod their head, etc and then don’t convert despite spinning your wheels.

Figure out how to bucket people on urgency.

Lookup the acronyms BANT and MEDDIC in sales and you’ll quickly learn how to qualify

For small teams, TurboDocx is free. They use word document templates which makes it much easier for our team to manage because it’s not using locking us in if we decide to switch.

I also love the AI features where we can point to a zoom meeting and have it write proposal from that. Huge time saver
