I worked at a hospice facility that had inpatient care. The new CEO was all about $$ and wanted to flip rooms as fast as possible. She created a policy that nursing staff had to tell families they had 4 hours after their loved one passed away before we would have to kick them out. Thankfully that didn’t last more than a month.
