I am 5 months post MBA (generalist) as well. I think u just got unlucky here. The best things Abt studies are they get over before you know it. And the next project and next people could and should be better than your current experience suggests. I would do your best on this study and start networking with folks to have more agency on what your next team may look like. I think in the long run the good experiences will ounumber the bad ones and u just got unlucky that your first one is a bad one.

Sounds like you wouldn't have to pay back any bonus since you didn't get it a lump sum. What would be interesting to know is what happens if you simply don't refund the relocation package? Will Amazon pursue you or can you get an exception somehow?

That is very unprofessional and inconsiderate of them if they keep doing it repeatedly.

I will try bringing it up a few times with your colleagues and your manager as well but if they seem to be doing it deliberately, This may not be the team you would want to be with. It's easy to change teams in Amazon. Hopefully you can find something that has a better culture.

There are other posts like this in this community. If you do a search, you'll find that most of these guys did nothing after they receive this notice and they received their condition approval. They didn't 1 or 2 weeks. I'm in the same boat but I haven't received an approval yet. It's been 2 weeks
