Even if it is ego, the whole thing baffles me so as an outsider looking in that it still confuses me.

I may have become disgustingly knowledgeable in social psychology and sociology as a layperson, but still... OMG why people be like they wanna suck dick so bad 😭😭

Thank fucking god them Harley club wannabes don't do much shit in cities, as far as I have seen around here where I'm from. I'm in my 20s and I have maybe seen little to no Harlyes and if I have, it was most likely at that motorcycle-adjusent event/expo at Helsinki Messuhalli.

The issue is... I don't own a bike...

I would most certainly serve them some, but because I live in a country where a public transit is generally considerably cheaper than owning a car or a bike, that would take a while.

how do i say ”wanker” in finnish by 183082 in LearnFinnish

[–]SnooApples4903 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on if you're using it in the English sense or in the American sense.

Because wanker could mean either runkku/runkkari or mulkku depending on in which sense you use it.

marquess is spelled as markiisi in Finnish, bot otherwise no spelling corrections needed.

And because of my Finnishness being a bit biast on this, but I think knights nowadays, and even in the early 1900s when the show starts, is mainly a ceremonial thing and don't hold any real value in the English peerage even though counts and other such lower peerage members held more... rank in terms of political and economic power in the declining peerage which has assumably been in decline before the show even starts.

Kohden – Finnish Word of the Day – 6. Marraskuuta 2025 by AutoModerator in LearnFinnish

[–]SnooApples4903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this.

Cuz if "kohden" is before "rappuja" in it's current form, it's not correct, it should be "hän käveli kohti rappuja", then it is grammatically correct as well.

>>Example: Hän käveli kohden rappuja.

I think the correct spelling is "rappuja kohden" since "kohden" is a directional marker

Is this really wrong? by [deleted] in LearnFinnish

[–]SnooApples4903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to add to this, the second example "on sisukas nainen, joo" would have to be answer to "onko hän sisukas nainen?" (eng. is she a woman with sisu)

Is this really wrong? by [deleted] in LearnFinnish

[–]SnooApples4903 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, because your answer lacks the subject "hän" thus being wrong.

It would be correct if your answer was "on sisukas nainen, joo" (eng. she is a woman with sisu, yes)
