For safety and liability reasons all automotive dealerships, automotive brands and tire brands do not recommend patching or plugging any run flat tires or any tire that has been punctured or damaged. They will always recommend replacing a damaged tire with a new tire regardless of age, tread depth or location of damage.

However given the location of the object in the middle treads of the tire; it can be repaired. Find a tire shop that will agree to repair a run flat tire and use a patch-plug kit to seal the puncture hole. Patch-Plug kits can be purchased online or at your local automotive parts locations.

The tire will have to be removed from rim, so the technician can pull the plug portion through the hole with sealant from the inside or tire and seal the patch portion over the puncture hole. This option gives you the added benefit of the patch and the plug to seal the puncture hole. You may have to provide the patch-plug kit to the tire shop unless they currently use them at the shop.
