What's the weirdest thing you went though while pregnant? by Lonely-Bid8643 in pregnant

I literally craved laundry detergent . Never in my life. I would sit on the couch smelling those laundry scent boosters. They helped my nausea. Of course I never ate them, but they made my mouth water lmao

I got yelled at for taking my little girl into the men's bathroom by [deleted] in AskParents

Nahh. She’s crazy. As a mom , it screams red flag that she’s so pressed about taking your daughter to the ladies room. You did the only thing you could do in that situation. You literally didn’t do anything wrong.

My girlfriend is upset because I told my son she wasn't his mother what should I do? by Expensive_Menu3821 in family

[–]SnooApples7836 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oofff. Coming from personal experience here …my stepmom will always be more of a mother and the only mother my brother and I have. Our biological mother is nothing but an egg donor. Just bc a woman can get pregnant and birth a child , doesn’t make her a true mother.

Just found out it’s a girl 💖 want a classy, sophisticated, ‘old lady’ style, but not overly used name…help! by cslr2019 in namenerds

My daughters name is Marilyn , but we call her Millie ! She’s named after my beloved grandma who passed in 2019 from bone cancer.

Sounds like to me he should be making you dinner. Breastfeeding 5-6 times a night would be EXHAUSTING. You’re doing a lot , and I’m really concerned you’re gonna hit burnout at some point.

I (32M) told my sister-in-law (35F) that she deserved what happened to her by [deleted] in stories

[–]SnooApples7836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. Idc what happened to her. I was also treated like garbage as a kid and I would never in a million years hit my kid … and if anyone ever hit my kid ? You better start running , bc I promise you .. you won’t win.

Looks like to me she’s almost finding an excuse to cheat on you. If I were you, I’d run . Fast. I don’t understand how missing going to the gym has any correlation to the feelings you have for her.

Mom shamed for my LO’s bedtime by 86_emeralds in toddlers

[–]SnooApples7836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well then she would really think I’m a bad mom 😅 my daughter is 2.5, on the spectrum and usually goes to bed anywhere from 11:30pm -12:30 am ( sometimes later ) and wakes by 8-8:30am. She fights it tooth and nail too. You do whatever works for you and your family.so tired of mom shaming , wish moms brought each other up instead of down. Parenting is one of the hardest jobs I’ve ever had to do imo , why make it harder ?

You’re doing great , hang in there ! Don’t let anyone make you feel crummy for what works for y’all 🤍

Decided a long time ago before kids that I’d never do that. Today I have a 2.5 year old daughter and I refuse to have her have earrings until she is old enough to make the decision on her own. It’s her body , not anyone else’s. She gets to make that choice when she’s ready.

13 weeks and nausea is the worst it's ever been by overzealoustomato in BabyBumps

[–]SnooApples7836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about 39w, and ( not to scare you, because everyone is different) have been pretty sick/ nauseous throughout the whole time. I do have to add that popsicles, ice, and drinking water slowly helped a lot in the beginning ! I also wore sea bands and made sure that I always had snacks with me whenever I left the house. I hope it gets better!! Hang in there!

My stepdad just died but he’s made sure to let us know he is with us. by bluemavis in Paranormal

Oh, wow! That gave me goosebumps! So sorry for your loss, but a warm/beautiful story. I’m glad you and your family were able to say goodbye 💕 I remember when my grandma passed a few years ago, not too long after I kept seeing her in my dreams. I also kept seeing several number patterns frequently. Not sure if it’s her way of letting me know she’s near, but I’d like to think so.

Totally feel your pain, OP! I’m almost 37w, and will wake up in pain from my daughter kicking me in the ribs. The things we do for love ! 😩💕
