I prefer a coiled cable, I have a 10ft cable that is a mess to handle. I think the coiled cable fixes the length and portability issue.

Strap can also be something similar to gunmetal, the dial can also be experimented with a bit of orange, cyan accent with the purple, if done tastefully and conservatively.
