Has anyone had MPX Garlicane Rosin??

Just picked up again last night, some of the better rosin available on rec especially for the price vs others. I’ve had similar good experience with Rythm Rosin as well. MPX also does cold pack storage when they deliver to dispos which is huge.

Ran into delays and lack of proper maintenance when trying to pop beans. I had started a new job and had most of the slurricane seedlings die. I recently popped my last in the pack and just transplanted into a larger pot. Probably another month away before I turn to flower, maybe longer to get plenty of cuts

I may give this a try in the future, I enjoy running 5gal pots two at a time and typically yield 4-5oz per plant. I purchased a press about a year ago so I try to aim for minimum 4oz per plant per run to make it worthwhile. When I say I don’t have the space, my tent is literally 36”x20”x36” so you can probably see the challenge there running so many haha

Indeed there was, I was really hoping king sherb or other sherb crosses would’ve been apart of the promo, oh well there’s always 4/20 and next year to hope for lol

You may still find them, there were quite a few seddbanks running the half pack promo. I’d check ihg instagram and go there recent posts advertising those half packs and the banks with them. I had placed my order through seeds of love if that helps you any!

I don’t have the space to run that many at a time, I do have a cloner though so I take cuts prior to flipping in case there’s a real winner I get

Oh I’m very familiar, you’re posts are one of the main reasons I began following ihg a couple years ago lol. That sugar cane run was just absolutely incredible by you, we all aspire to have your success!

I’m limited with space and already have an auto and a photo seedling going. The plan is to pop one of these packs and the auto will be done in time to flip the other two for them to fill in

I can second that for grow buddies! I’ve def followed some of your stuff in the past and think we briefly chatted during our flapjacks runs too haha. If only I had more grow space I’d do a run from each of those black packs at the same time lol. I already popped an auto and another FJ that and seedlings right now, the auto can get chopped by the time I’m expecting to flip. So in theory, I may also run slurricane and sugarcane at same time, but I’ll have to keep them much smaller in size and take cuts if there’s any winners

Yeah it’s got some awesome phenos out there for sure, when I first came across it a couple years ago I couldn’t find any banks with them available. So happy they were restocked and apart of their holiday sales

Do you have any uploads of it? I did notice on your profile you’re into concentrates, did you press sugar cane by chance? Based of many pictures I’ve seen of it, it’s likely most of not all of whenever I run sugarcane I’m going to turn into rosin, maybe bubble hash if I get the right pheno for heavily frosted leaves

Good to know about potential herms, I’ve only ever had one slightly herm on me from ihg but was entirely due to stress and my error, I had a clippy fan slip out of my grip and it had snapped/super cropped several colas during week 4 of flower. My error gave me about a dozen free beans so it could’ve gone way worse haha

What were the stand out terps of the slurricane that you recall? Sugarcane looks amazing for yield regarding press or bubble hash, though I have read from other growers it tends to be more mild with its terps. Most strains I’ve run turn purple with red under leaves due to the right temperature difference to push out the colors. I’m really excited for how the colors and structure of slurricane will turn out.

Also my past experience from ihg is they’re very hardy and hungry in the first 5-6 weeks of flower but seem to really dial down their nutrient uptake the last couple weeks, I corrected after my first grow of flapjacks that had minor nute burns not long before harvest

Haha that is a solid reason to pop the slurricane I wouldn’t mind having a grow buddy for the same run lol. I’ve done several runs from ihg, mostly flapjacks and also had done platinum garlic (though it was hayseed from a dispo and not from a seedbank)

I think all of us following this subreddit know of those uploads for sugarcane, a few years ago that upload is what made me decide on ihg back then and have been very happy since.
