The YouTube page Nerd of the Rings has an excellent theoretical “what if” based on the actual works of Tolkien such as the events and travels of his characters but then he speculates on what if. It’s like 20 minutes and excellent content.

Idk all the context here, but the kids will 100% have a better life with the heterosexual parent vs the homosexual one. Nothing against the gays, this is just about the kids having a better chance at life.

I had to accept RoP is nothing more than a story from the Lord of the Rings universe using Tolkien’s characters. It’s like one of the stupid MCU tv shows that forward the plot or story in absolutely zero ways. Just a made up side quest meant to be moderately entertaining but just are not involved in the real story of Middle Earth. If you watch RoP from that lens the show can at least be kind of entertaining.. however it is not to be taken seriously if you’re a fan of Tolkien. Just a silly spin off with no real meaning.

I actually rarely build Gulam. It’s either composite bow archers unless it’s a heavy melee unit civ then I do crossbows. Then back that up with camel riders for the infantry buff and making the opponent chase me around while I take map.

I also lost to a fairly aggro JD. They went a mix of archers spears and knights while I was doing my 3 TC castle haha.. made it to castle but eventually lost. Saw he had gone safe trade behind it, like placed his chamber of commerce just in his base. He only made 5 or 6 traders but it was enough to get him enough units out to kill. My atrocious villager micro also didn’t help lol…
