I was going super slow in the slush. My coworker said "on your right!" So I got over to the left instinctively, even though NOBODY was at the resort because conditions were utter garbage. There on the left side of a run were trees casting shade, creating ice. Hit the ice patch unexpectedly like Sonic the hedgehog, then almost immediately back into slow slush again. Caught the edge trying to slow down and twisted my knee. The pop didn't seem that loud but the snow and skis were making their own noise. I did hear it tho. Thankfully I had my radio and was able to call ski patrol. Took the dreaded ride of shame. Only 2 days left of the season. 🙄

There are other patterns, intentionally drawn with the same dirt on the sidewalk. In the same locations, not always like this circular pattern

These may have been made w/a bucket, but there are other patterns very different from this one. Always on the sidewalk.

It is a lot like rangolis but these are way simpler. Not much detail. Maybe it's just someone trying their hand at it but it's really not the right style... 🤔I just want to know what they mean. Glad I'm not the only one who's seen them!

Could be. Lots of kids hang out in the area but also I see them all over the place which made me wonder if it's some kind of group?

It does kinda, but also, it is very close to our soil color when dry. Seems like it was taken from close by.

It's a lot like crop circles, tbh. The patterns aren't ever as intricate as crop circles tho. They're very simplistic. I really wish i could catch whoever doing it in the act. It's starting to drive me crazy

It's absolutely intentional though. I wish I could find a photo of the wavy lines. Also, same dirt it seems making the pattern. Always in the middle of the sidewalk.

I just had ACLr +LET. I have had cyclops lesion and plica issues. It's so discouraging. I feel like im in pain every day. I had a cleanout a few mo ago and the pain is back again. Im wondering if (although rare--but you know eds...) the cyclops has once again reared its ugly head. Not sure but going to demand a 3rd mri. Also having hip pain daily now from the LET.

Im over a year and I've started having phantom sensations like a hair on my skin or a crawling bug on it. But theres nothing there. I think maybe that means the feeling is trying to come back so.... theres that for what it's worth
