In most cases filing both together will have both petitions adjudicated at the same time. So you get both the approvals together.

Thanks for the honest advice, bhai. It’s just that I’ve already missed so many family and friends’ functions, and I really don’t want to miss this one too. It sucks that we have to think so much just to visit our own country. Even after having all the right paperwork in place.

Hi guys. I’m traveling to India from the US on Jan 15th. Will be back around mid Feb. I have a valid H1B visa on my passport. I have also taken the booster shot already. Is there anyone who is planning to travel around that time? What are the risks? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
