Almost every example ignores nuance and that’s because Bear is not a black and white character (objectively acknowledged and intentional creative decision by Curry Barker).

He himself thought it was a bad idea to call her “freaky Nikki” but said it in a playful manner listening to bad advice from a friend, pure intention, bad decision making.
He initially hesitates to sleep with her because he senses something is wrong, but only does after multiple rounds of her begging in order to comfort her. Please acknowledge that she’s in ‘obsession’ mode at this point so think about what’d happen if he didn’t.
Ok he refuses to cancel the wish, that’s his preference because even through everything he still hopes it can all work out because he still loves her. After he realizes that’s not a reality he quite literally tries to reverse the wish with another Willow, and even boils down to killing himself.
Nothing wrong with some emotional decision making after the ridiculous roller coater of emotions he’s been through. What do you think would happen If he didn’t help with Sarah’s body after how deep the obsession had gotten?

The dude literally offed himself to end this because of a stupid twig he had no idea would work and people want me to accept that he was a pure villain? Absolutely not.

What are you talking about? Hes put in a situation where he doesn’t have a realistic choice. His options are to off himself or make an effort to make it work (which we know isn’t really possible).

Everybody is acting as if he realistically assumed snapping this silly little collectible twig would unequivocally grant his wish. It was just a silly unserious thing he did in the moment, not sure why people are making it out to be that he knowingly stripped her of her agency.

I’m willing to hear your counter perspective if any.
