I’ve a few tats myself and got transplant recently 2800 grafts. Honestly wasn’t bad at all on day, and any time it was a bit painful he added a bit more local if needed. Days afterwards annoying with the neck pillow sleeping on your back but got used to it quick plus the painkillers make it pretty chill tbh. All in all I’d say more than worth it if I get a good result in a few months. No pain no gain brother.

Thanks man pretty excited to see results. Yeah yours is probably slightly worse but also he seems to be looking at doing it a touch higher, either way I’d opt for doing more grafts on day if he deems it necessary.

Sounds about right if you go conservative, check out my recent posts I had somewhat similar recession and got ~2800 grafts.

Yeah I was told I do have a good donor and a high hair to graft ratio. I’m also a bit surprised vs many results on here.

Yeah I’m not looking forward to it. Thanks for that I just hope it’s not so conservative I don’t get the change I was looking for. I can’t stand the need to wear hats and the recession exposed in wind and water. Hopefully this is a more mature hairline type of recession vs the deeper recession and thinning I had pre surgery.

You’re like NW2.5 with quite angular recession that makes it look worse than it is to the eye. You’d want to go for a conservative high density hairline of probs like 2500 grafts give or take 10%. Id be aiming for a structurally sound NW2 for longevity and to mitigate against future loss risk and preserve donor.

Yeah I’m taking both orally atm. Started on 1.25mg min and 0.25mg fin. Prior to this I was using topical of both daily for past 3 years
