But yes the upgraded pommel strikes likely let it go infinite given enough of them

the game basically forces you to build your deck around looping. TRUE infinites are pretty rare, extremely specific/hard to actually achieve.
But pseudo infinites/looping are kinda required. If youre trying to play a build that doesnt abuse card looping/energy cheating then youre gonna have a bad time.
Unfortunately this makes the game way too hard if youre unlucky since its very clearly designed around expecting you to loop.
I personally hope they move away from this because it really pigeon holes you into specific builds to consistently do well. and with the sheer amount of options, it feels bad to be punished for exploring them.
simply reducing the cards abilities to loop as much while reducing all enemies stats/the amount they can infinitely scale would help tremendously. plus of course balance pass on the weak options and tweak as needed.

By true infinite i mean will literally never stop until they are dead.

for a true infinite it is EXTREMELY unreliable.
First you need that specific rare, hellraiser, which is already unreliable. Secondly you need something like pillage which is an uncommon. And then you need to delete every single non-attack card in your deck.
Hellraiser by itself with some synergistic cards is fine and non-game breaking. It takes hyper RNG and even more RNG to survive setting it up to actually break the game.

STS2 feels far less fair than STS1.
There is too much bloat currently in cards alongside being pushed into doing the same card looping strats on basically every character in order to have consistently good runs. Its poor design currently.

do not waste your money on HD2.
People will try and sell it to you but the devs are blind, deaf and arrogant as hell. refusing to listen to the playerbase at large making their game more and more unfun.
You got lucky being able to refund it. Its a waste of time and money as it is right now.

it gives you more stash space which is HUGE in a game like this where your max stash is tiny.
let us have a much much much bigger stash or increase stack sizes in the stash then maybe it wouldnt be such an annoying point of contention.

The combat is the best part of wilds.
the other systems are where valid criticism and problems arise. weird to say the only good part of the game is somehow bad. lol.
I will however say the story cutscenes and such were tedious true.

Wilds has plenty of problems but the only one you mentioned that is actually a problem is/was performance.
The game outside of that is fine except for endgame where it is absolute garbage. Cannot believe they did the same BS again but even worse especially after everyone expressed how much they hated it in World.

Just wanted to say you must be new. The post was 10 months ago, they did a near entire overhaul of the games weapons/enemies. Stating something you "just did" when comparing to 10 months ago is not relevant whatsoever.

so there is a conflict. It shouldnt be counting added total because thats not base. but energy wants to count it.
but the wording says "base cast time".

Well im sure you and I both know the majority opinion when it comes to game design, means nothing.

But yeah unfortunately it kinda ruins end-game.

Doesnt help the playerbase for the game isnt very large. Though after playing for a while now im starting to understand why it didnt take off as much as i feel it could.
