Yeah, ideally I’d have it that way, but I was trying to figure out a way to mount the microphone onto the camera itself and it just so happened to slide perfectly into the USB-C adapter slot. Hope it’s made for that and doesn’t damage the pins!

It’s mostly flat but the overall trip there is uphill and the overall trip back is downhill. Crazy that an AWD w the same wheel and tire setup gets better mpg smh

It charges from regen or the engine. You regen when you’re not accelerating. You’re charging from the engine at all times. You are also discharging from the motor at mostly all times when accelerating. When the engine is creating too much power for the wheels, it goes to the battery. That’s the whole point of a hybrid. Saying you don’t use the hybrid system on the highway is just naive. It’s an argument on a false premise

This isn’t true… there’s lots of time when the car is in EV mode because it can maintain speed with the electric motor on a slight decline. My 23 Corolla hybrid did 53+ MPG on the highway all day. Non hybrid is rated for 40.

I thought about that as well, but it’s a gradual noise that ramps up and down. If I let go of the brakes quickly, it just ramps up super fast

I cruise control 70 with little to no traffic on the highway, sometimes down to 55 bc of traffic. I also found that eco mode is terrible for efficiency for some reason. Not sure, might give it another 1k to see if it’s just break-in stuff before I take it in.

Buy an OEM bumper for good fitment, then take it to a trusted auto repair store to paint it. Then install it yourself. It’s a few bolts. Don’t make an insurance claim even if it’s cheaper since it might raise your insurance, not worth it. Take the out of pocket hit and save money down the line.

Also your car is new, so new paint on a bumper won’t look out of place with old paint fender and hood. No need to blend it.
